This time we went camping near the river.
It's winter, so all the rivers are frozen.
I fell several times while camping on the ice.
The weather has warmed up since morning.
It looks like the ice will break soon.
I had to go home before I fell into the river. :)

This was stupid. Why would you park your car on an ice lake and just let it sit there. You weren’t eventually ice fishing. Makes no sense. The whole time you were struggling to walk around. All it takes is one stupid accident and you’re dead out there all by yourself. 👎👎for the stupidity of this

Is it safe to park on the frozen lake ? Dont you fear it could break anytime with all the weight of the car ? I shall never have (maybe) such experience seeing the iced river so thick. I had once in China, only 5mm ice thick with 5 degrees celcius. Anyway, I enjoy to see your trip. Good luck.

It's interesting to see all the possible choices for vehicle camping, but this seems to be one of the more awkward methods, with all the climbing around and such. I think I would rather stay on ground level-oh, and NOT park on ice and risk injury...
