Hi Cliff, thanks for the comment, it's appreciated. I could be converted to fly differential, but with these vintage models, traditionally, its all about climb while the engine is running, and then to see how long you can make the glide etc. i know people fly them differently these days, like a modern plane, but I fancy keeping and flying this in the traditional way. Thanks again 😀
I'm assuming that Sparky has no throttle or advance and retard mech? I personally would like to see it floating around at a lower level on tick over. All the same, a fantastic job and lovely radio assist flight/s. Well done.
Thanks for the comment, no throttle, but the ignition timing can be altered to vary the speed, but with these vintage models, traditionally, its all about climb while the engine is running, and then to see how long you can make the glide etc. i know people fly them differently these days, like a modern plane, but I fancy keeping and flying this in the traditional way.
I have to rely on my head camera, as I can't fly and film at the same time, so it's the only way I can record the event - I don't have a camera crew! Also, its a model from the 1930's that is designed to fly high and then glide, as was done in compertitions of the time. As this is the culmination of a build series I think its better to record the event as best as I can, rather than not, just because some people may not like the quality - If it is watched on the computer screen it is ok. But pleased nyou liked the model, thank you
Bello davvero, il tuo entusiasmo è come una giornata di sole infinita grazie

This model is a dream, handles well and not to fast, with the breeze on landing a harrier touch down could be achieved.

Brilliant Mark, I can see why you were buzzing, do you think in time you'll be able to fly her 'around' at a lower level?
I was thinking the same thing but, I don't think this engine has throttle.

Il est beau et il vole bien, dommage que cela soit mal filmer !? ce sera peut-être mieux la prochaine fois !
