In Toronto, Ontario Premier Doug Ford discusses redevelopment plans for Ontario Place, which includes relocating Ontario Science Centre to the waterfront site. The premier is joined by provincial ministers Neil Lumsden (tourism, culture and sport) and Kinga Surma (infrastructure). Surma announces that work on restoring the critical infrastructure of Ontario Place will begin in spring 2023.
