- robertkeeley.com/Red+Dirt+Ger... Keeley’s latest mod to the venerable platform has everyone grinning here at the shop. The Red Dirt Germanium is nothing short of a red hot saturation machine. Perfect classic amp tones.
Another superb demo Mike, thank you sir.
Duuude! Awesome ghostly bends 30 seconds in! Great job sir mike
Thanks!
I like how much you reference the beginning of the tightrope solo. my all time fave SRV lick
nice tone and playin as always .. \m/
Much appreciated!
Might just be the best drive pedal ive ever heard its amazing tone is great and the drive is amazing I love the way it sounds at the lower gain volume just that little bit of boost on it I would probably keep the drive a little less then half and the level at half that would be perfect for the tone in look for very good job man seriously
Thats a beautiful OD.. Thats got the mojo, nothing fancy, just tone. All the classic tone one could want. Really warms up the ice pick single coils.
"Yeaaah I'm the Taxmaaaaaan..." George Harrison was such a great songwriter, and your arrangement was great (as it always is) Thanks Mike!
Thanks! I was wondering if I strayed to far from the original...
Mike Hermans
Have no fear Mike, even if you did, the result would stand on its own. I love the Beatles strand you're on these days, by tthe way.
And if you must know, it's kind of a fun game to try and identify the songs you play when the arrangement is quite different.
Mike you do the best pedal demos! Especially with the chops you have. I was wondering if you could do a pedalboard update.
Thanks
Thanks! Will do soon
Would you consider doing a rundown of your signal path for recording? Your videos are all really good and it would be useful to see how you process the signal.
we had issues like this in music stores in the 80's and 90's. guitarists would play well, and people thought it was the pedal or amp or guitar...
Sounds like a Marshal blues breaker
Hey Mike, this is my next pedal for sure & this is easily the best demo by far sensational work mate!
I'm a guitar teacher & I'd love to get hold of some of those backing tracks especially the one when u turned the vol down on the Suhr, any chance you could help me get hold of them?
Cheers Benny.
Hell yeah!
Come on! Do the Boss DS-1! Something tells me you'd make even that ghastly thing sound splendid.
Hi Mike! Which model of Suhr do you have? Is it a Classic Pro or Antique?
This effect will not let a mistake escape! clean clear stratocaster.. bravo mike!
Merry Christmas to everyone at Keeley Electronics.
Another awesome sounding Pedal, would the Red Dirt Pedal work well with the Germanium Ecstasy Pedal?
It looks like my Pedal Board will consist mainly of MrRobert Keeley's Pedals.
Mine is half Keeley, half NU>X, half Source Audio.
Wait a minute...that's three halves...hmm. My math not gud.
Since you have tried lots of overdrives, Which one do you prefer? Keeley, As is, Tumnus, Klon, Red dirt.....🍻
They are different circuits and all are great pedals in different ways. I have a ton of overdrive pedals on my board and I find the magic happens in stacking them. Like tube screamer, klon, blueabreaker...etc.
can you tell.. what is full equipment that you used in this record?
Most accurate representation of this pedal there is if you ask me. Especially 3:30-4:10. Damn fine job!!!
