I think between having resources like Justin Williams, Tripp Tracy (who has been very public and vocal about his past addiction related issues, and develops a great relationship with the guys, and is just all around a wholesome fellow), as well as Dmitry Orlov (kuzy’s bestie), and young Russians like PK who look up to him, and Rod who extracts every drop of juice from his guys, and his own presser today, he should be able to turn this around!
I think the Kostin trade was more about making room for Berggren than about Kostin's play, even though he had flaws in his game. From how much Yzerman praised him and Edvinsson, maybe he feels it's time to get them into the NHL for good. Simek is already in the AHL, so the Griffins will still have the same number of defensemen if they do call him up too.

Dude that hertl trade was the craziest deadline trade I've seen in a while. I know people hate Vegas for their cap shenanigans but I dont really have a problem. They're not breaking any rules and if the nhl has an issue with it they should change the rules. On the other hand I think that my poor leafs just had a huge L of a deadline. Not one needle mover. It is what it is 😐
100% agree with you on both fronts. Looks like Treliving is mailing it in. I think he really changed his mind on their chances after the two losses from Boston. I do also like the Jets though, and I'm really loving their deadline acquisitions. I think they're going far this year. Colorado, Florida, Carolina NYR and Vegas look like absolute units this year though.

I believe too many people overlook the value of a dman like Peeke. When he played a full season last year he had 180 hits and 197 blocks which i believe was 2nd in the league. Hes also managed to stay healthy despite putting his body through that abuse. I wish him all the best but hope Boston is out by the 1st rd. Lol

Hertl was the heart and soul of the Sharks. Now the franchise is in ruins. We did need a rebuild, but not this way. The return is so terrible as well. It wouldn´t be good even if those thirds were going the other way. Mike Grier needs to be fired asap. #FireGrier
