Excellent! I have this very same vehicle on order (black leather inside though) and it’s due in at my dealer in early October. Test drove and love the acceleration and ergonomics. Coming over from driving Subarus exclusively for the last 18 years. Did not want another SUV.
I love this car. If I don't end up getting an HR-V Sport, I plan to get one of these, but probably the Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback instead. I have no problems with the standard rod for the hood. Simple, and don't have to bother with replacements and trying to find something to hold the hood up when they give out, and until you fix them. I know the Toyota Camry has a factory aftermarket dual strut kit you can add, but you can leave the rod there, in case you need it, like I mentioned above. And yes, the driver's door has a hidden key lock under the handle, should you need to use them. That color is nice, but the Blue Lagoon Pearl with the light grey seats is nicer. Urban Grey Pearl would be my second choice on both sedan or hatchback with the Boost Blue Pearl being my first choice on the latter. I have always bought the Sport version models of all the cars and road noise from tires was never a problem for me. I might even go with performance tires when I need to change them. And yes, the stereo, especially the Bose system takes care of the noise problem. And yes, the Hyundai and others are no conparison to this. Nothing is wrong with the Sport Corollas, but not as roomy, performance equivalence and other amenities.
@MattTheCarguy Also, IMHO all the Sport trims of the Civic and HR-V should come with the optional black exterior emblems. The black Hybrid emblem is now available when you build your car on the website, however, the black Touring emblem is not. But, the College Hills Honda website has that, along with a $40 horn upgrade kit for the Civic that probably fits the HR-V, as well as neoprene protective key fob covers in various colors, along with various Honda related items and apparel. Lasfit has the LED bulbs to replace the incandescent ones in the taillights fir the Civic, sbd probably ither Hondas. Ironically, the HR-V had full LED taillights and exterior rear view mirror LED directional turn signal lights, as well as leatherette door and center console armrests covers as opposed to the fabric ones on the Civic Sport and Sport Hybrid trims.
Do you prefer this, or say a standard equipment 25 Camry XLE? I'm torn between the 25 Honda Civic Hatch Sport Touring Hybrid, or a 25 Camry XLE. Both are almost exactly the same price MSRP wise. $5.00 difference.
If I were to choose between these 2 it would come down to the size. Depending on what you need. Camry is larger, but if you are looking at hatchback it has easier trunk access.
It actualy has 3 electric motors but its not an EV or even a plug in hybrid. It has an internal combustion engine that needs to deliver power to the wheels somehow. While pure EVs mostly have a direct drive this is a hybrid and has an E-CVT transmission.
It is not a nice and solid door closing sound. Compare with Kia K4 or K5. Kia soul has batter a door closing sound. Civic has a poor door closing sound.
I can confirm that there are vents underneath the seats for those concerned about the lack of rear vents so you can stop crying over the smallest of details.
Strong enough I guess. You can't see or control them but it seems to be a wide vent as I could feel the air all the way across under the seat rather then a small area.
It's a big improvement on what it has replaced and in general I like it. I think the rear end design could be easily mistaken for an Audi. Imo this design is more mature and conservative and not sleek and sporty anymore, a big MEH. On the upside, the interior design is really nice and upscale.
Lol at people saying you might as well buy a cheaper hyundai. Not everyone wants cheap garbage that drives like a go cart
You get what you pay for..

Congratulations!
Great job and I should consider buying this.
Of course!
Anyone comparing this to a Hyundai is a bona fife rtrd.
Thia car is a feat of engineering. 200+ HP with 50MPG is mental.
Honda never misses.
Definitely a nice vehicle.

You are welcome! Thanks for watching!

I'm sure they're gonna bring out the Integra with the same hybrid system with slightly more power and higher price of course.
Probably!
Probably!
The SI has less torque actually. It does not have more power.
30k for excellent engineered car is not pricey. Also, it has transmission.
You get what you pay for. Many times cheaper is not better.
There is no transmission in this car.
@@Whereismyname34 hmm, wonder why Honda listing E-CVT on the sticker.
@@MattTheCarguy marketing? This has an electric motor like an EV.

Nice hybrid sedan but price is not competitive.
It is pricey.
30k for a fully loaded car is well worth the price! A fully loaded Toyota is over 30k !
It’s very competitive. I couldn’t find anything else in this price range that delivered as much or more, so I bought one.

I think you’ll find those vents are to suck in air to cool the battery.
@@richardsmith579 They do blow air out also
@@mikeb3216 really. That’s interesting, can you tell me what the air is for and where it comes from?
They need more power on the Si 😮
A few more wouldnt hurt. 220-230 maybe?
please compare with 2025 camry le
I did the video on the base Camry LE. Great vehicle, but it does not have as many features. It is also larger. About 10 inches longer.
It’s not compact it’s fat now. Might as well get a sonata, camry or k5
It is bigger for sure. And you right, new Camry XSE would be similar price and mpgs are same.
This car is better than all those others. Korean cars are garbage still compared to Honda and Toyota build quality. You get what you pay for
Don't buy black color quality very poor
color quality??
@@MattTheCarguy Probably means its tough to take care of
That front end is ugly 🫣
Its a matter of opinion. I like it.
