I like it! is the softstep 3 reacting better to foot press than version 2 ? , I found version 2 reacting a bit " uncertain " , so I got a Netar Pacer ...
Hi Bernd! If you have hardware the Softstep 3 is a big upgrade, I do like that it feels a little more substantial somehow. The sensitivity is a more precise and it being usb-c is a huge timesaver when dealing with adapters and things. If the softstep 2 is seeming a little uncertain, and adjusting sensitivity settings doesn't help the Softstep 3 is a good option. I appreciate the feedback from the clickable foot switches but I really prefer seeing a little tick on with a silent pad and what the Softstep brings beyond that. Tough choice, but for the features the Softstep is a necessity for me.
I feel like everyone has a different approach you using this equipment. Maybe you'll get inspiration. And if your Softstep 2 wears out you'll know what to expect from a replacement. The feel is a little more natural on the 3 I think.
@ Thank you for your reply I stayed up all night and got it working I used the long trigger for pg1 and the double trigger for pg 5 and it sends a clean program change using anything else send other information that gets mixed up in the software I also got this to work in 2 windows programs at the same time with loop midi and midi ox I has a productive night

Hi Trevor, I own a sofstep 2. Do you think it is so different from the new sofstep 3 that watching this video would be pointless for me?
