The fact that no one has reacted to this by now is truly criminal and I'm glad someone finally did.
If you search kingpin reaction theres quite a few actually 😂
Just because you haven't come across another reaction doesn't mean they aren't out there. But it is a crime that more haven't reacted to it.
There are some but not nearly enough and it is criminal
@ChillDude1313 Actually not really.
"It's got 3 holes and you stick your fingers in it."
"You leave miss Rebecca out of this!"
😂😂😂
😂😅😂
Roy: "How's life?"
Resident: "Taking forever..."
"Can you get sick from drinkin piss?"
@@jonerton67 “I think ya can…”
@@Blackflame24HEY CAPTAIN HOOK!
“We don’t have a cow. We have a bull.” 😂😂😂😂 that’s one of my all time favorite jokes.
I spit take’d in the theater on that line. I wasn’t ready. That and after good sex makes me have to take a shit…I was rolling. 🤣🤣🤣
One of the funniest movies ever. That puking in the toilet after sex scene is such a classic.
Oh come on, it wasn't _that_ bad
What is it about good sex that makes me have to crap
Bill Murray’s bowling ball from the movie recently sold at auction for $350,000.
Bill Murray actually hit 3 consecutive strikes in front of that crowd at the end in one take.
That makes sense considering they left in the 2nd shot as a Brooklyn strike.
"Hey everybody there's a shit cloud coming! Run for your lives!" One of the best movies EVER.
I haven't seen this movie since it came out on video. Yours what's the top coming. I'm glad I didn't remember the line...you haven't ruined anything for me😂
My brother and I loved this movie ( He passed away unfortunately ) . This movie brings back so many memories. Thank you for watching this movie
Sorry for your loss.
Same with my brother (also gone). I thought through this whole reaction how much he would have LOVED it and laughed right along.
The hair in this movie is key to the plot.
“You’ll pick up that spare the same day my hair starts falling out!” 😂
I had a poster of Vanessa Angel from when she was in the Weird Science TV show when I was 11. I immediately hit puberty from looking at that poster.
😂😂
She had a small (but very memorable) part in Spies Like Us. Wow.
Comedies used to be so good back then! 🤣😂 This movie is in my top 5 favorite comedies of all time.
You probably know this but woody harrelson Was the guy with the wife in indecent proposal Doing the same thing with his wife As with randy quaid
The boyfriend from first bar scene was Roger Clemens
Skidmark 😂
My buddy and I quote his lines from this movie all the time 😂
"My man F'd up for life!"
Randy Quaid's silent scream is A+ comedy.
That rose bowling ball just went for 350k at auction. This movie is iconic.
My Nephew has a brand new un drilled one just waiting for a rainy day😉
"Can You Get Sick From Drinking Piss"
"What if its your Own"
So Underrated
😂😂😂
I think my 2 favorite parts are:
"Oh, stop it you. It ain't that bad"
'I bet it is!'
And:
"Hey, Drogo. Bill Murray ain't shit"
*Drogo barks in acknowledgement*
"You really jarred something loose in there, tiger." 😂😂 Not sure if you watched it, but Blues Traveler playing "But Anyway" during the end credits was great, and a great song.
John Popper was the announcer in the tux before the tourney.
Yep!
How's life?
Taking forever! 😂
I still use this line.
Murray, Harrelson, Quaid and both Farrelly brothers being their worst at being their best!
I know 'There's Something About Mary' and 'Dumb and Dumber' get the spotlight, but this might be the best. Everything from the hook hand, post-coital banter and Woody Harrelson's double-takes make this a winner - as opposed to a "munson".
Me, Myself and Irene is up there too. KingPin has an R-Rated version and it's even better
Truth.. this was always my favorite as well amongst the 3.
My little brother is a beast at bowling. We bowled in a youth league for 10 years before I was unable to keep up back in 2007. He never stopped. He’s bowled four 300 games, averages around 230, and has competed in national youth tournaments. Even met a few pro bowlers. Proud of him! He beats adults on the regular.
Great reaction! I like that Bill Murray’s seemingly throw away line “You’ll make that spare the same day my hair starts falling out.” And then his hair is a mess at the end. 6:38
By far some of the best performances of all their careers. Everyone is just perfect in this, and the jokes land far more often than they should. The fact that it doesn't follow the usual tropes and subverts your expectations is nearly as crazy as the fact it's got so much heart and sincerity. Great reaction as always, loved seeing you experience it for the first time.
i forgot how funny this film is,really glad you enjoyed it,
That bull wanted another round 😂
Glad Bill Murray "Ernie McCracken" mentions my home state of Kentucky as he plays Quarterback 😂😂
When I bowl, I don't go for score, I go for volume and pin dispersion. I bowl out of HATE. I DESTROY pins. I have to start my throw from the hip, not under my chin, I generate so much velocity on my arc.
Bro I fucking lost it 😂😂😂 when J said Frank's N Beans lmao 😂😂
One of my favorite comedies.
"We have a bull..." 😂
It's actually a parody of two films,
"The Color of Money" starring Tom Cruise and Paul Newman, and "Witness" with Harrison Ford.
one of the all time great comedies. I watched this with my friends in high school countless times. Still quote it to this day without even knowing it.
This is in my top 5 comedies ever.
Better than that, at least top 10
@@yt45204that doesn't make sense 😂
@@TwistedReality13 It's an old joke.
"We can give you a raise by 1/3-rd."
"No, I want at least 1/4-th!"
The greatest bowling ball was in Mystery Men with Ben Stiller. Such an underrated superhero movie
great drop for a friday night.
MLB pitcher roger clemens makes a cameo as skid mark- many people miss that
As well as several pba bowlers and HOF members
And Cam Neely, NHL player, plays SeaBass in Dumb and Dumber.
@33:29 There's something about Mary. His name is Chris Elliott.
"How's life"
.
"Taking forever"
Been a long time since I laughed so hard. Great reaction 👍
Chris Elliott from There's Something About Mary.
"Oh stop it.. it wasn't that bad"..
"I BET IT WAS!!!" 😂😂.....
Great movie and great reaction big dawg!
“I took the liberty of milking your cow”
“you know what the Bible says about lying, don’t you?”
They do not make comedies like this anymore. Murder Whistle gonna be choking on that water haha😂
"You have a monkey?!"
Dunno why, but that line always kills me. Great reaction, as always.
Both Something About Mary and
King Pin were directed by Farrely Brothers.
(Dumb and Dumber as well)
You had me laughing hysterically
"Oh ya? And who are you? Alfred Einstein?" ✌️
"I would have told her I was gay"
🤣😂
Watching Big Ern’s hairpiece slowly falling apart is true joy and bliss.
Thanks for reacting to this somewhat forgotten gem of a film.
The Orange sign on the back of Amish buggies is the sing for slow moving vehicle, Pennsylvania, to Las Vegas in a slow moving vehicle and they had a hell of a head start, Amish magic only way he cought up
"So, you two are dictionary salesmen?"
"You would be punctilious in assuming that."
True story. In a previous job I worked with the Amish in Ohio. He left me drive his buggy and wear his hat. I always told him one day we were going to race. I insisted that the one pulling his buggy would have to be named “Buttercup”. It was an ongoing joke we had. He didn’t get the reference but he still found it funny. 😂
i hadn't seen this in like 20yrs. I just noticed the bowling MC at the end was the singer from Blues Traveler... band that plays the end credit song
5:22 😹 hi 👋
scene was improvised 🎭
I still do this to make my friends laugh😂
One of the greatest comedies eve made. I will always love this movie!!
Some of the faces you made during this react had me laughing out loud! 🤣🤣🤣
Love this move First time watching this was on Thanksgiving and the house was full of people and we all ended up watching this. Great memory
The actress that plays the lady that he rents from that is Lin Shaye and she is such a great actress. Like from the insidious movies the original nightmare on elm Street
Very underrated movie soundtrack
I almost forgot about this movie. This is going to be good. 👍
This is 100% my favorite comedy movie of all time I could never get tired of watching it also the best bowling movie ever made give us a part 2 Farrelly Brothers
Not just the select music choices. The acting, the commentary, its all on point. Call me incorrect?
24:54 skid mark is not the black one, but that was Roger Clemens
Easily in the top 3 funniest movies ever. Every scene, every line, every look, amazing soundtrack and MF Bill Murray on point.
Not Top 3 But Top 50 For Sure!!! And one of my Favs from this time!!
I remember renting this out and watching with a room full of friends from school, while my parents looked on, probably wondering "WTF". Good times.
Never seen this movie before, can't wait to watch it.
Damn, that was Sea bass!
The rent 'payment' scene is one you can never unsee.
15:55 i didn't get that visual gag in the 90's when i watched it. 😂
you were thinking of There's something about Mary, which is made by the same folks as this film - The Farrelly brothers.
J I have had a hell of a day. You all at EOM have made it better! Thank you! ❤ J laughter is like liquid gold!
Great movie, I was lucky enough to see Woody on stage last Dec. Here in the UK. Didn’t get to meet him but he was splendid.
I forgot how funny this movie is.
And THAT is why we call that "Payin' the rent"
Am I the only one that remembers Vanessa Angel on the TV series "Weird Science" ? 👻
Many Liquid Children died during the airing of that show😉
I knew J would like this movie. I have liked this movie ever since I saw it at the theater in 1996. My Dad loved bowling and so did I. I was four or five the first time I went bowling. My Dad had a mean hook that would hug the gutter and then curve in at the last second. I never learned how to do that. I used to bowl quite a bit and was on a league at one time. About 6 years ago I went bowling and threw the first ball and snapped the tendon that goes over the bicep of my right arm. On top of that in turned out I needed rotator cuff surgery as well. No more bowling for me. By the way my tendon was repaired and is being held in place by a screw.
Actual pro bowling balls have off-balance weights in the core to allow them to hook, so the crystal rose ball, which I remember hearing wasn't a prop made for the movie, they just found it in a pro shop near where they were shooting and bought it, wouldn't be effective for professional play. Sure does look good though.
06:33 "Hey man, her hair is huge." Riiiiiiiight.... 😂
Big Earn is top 10 "Ain't Shit" list.
Define Foreshadowing: 9:39 😂
The Farrelly brothers made a lot of similar movies and usually casted the same characters as side characters. The lady who plays his landlord was in Dumb and Dumber and also Mary’s older friend in Something about Mary. That’s why you will recognize certain actors from these movies
We need a Kingpin 2.
This is such a classic movie.
I'd trade an amish community vs the long coat wearing, 2 curls sporting, top hat wearing town destroyers any day
Still one of my top 10.
Vanessa Angel is still a 10 also.
The crazy hot landlord was in Theres Something About Mary as well. She was Mary's neighbor. Lol
Bro til this day I bowl like bill murray with the hand out 😂😂😂
Woogy from There’s Something About Mary , that’s the movie you were thinking of
I love kingpin I’m hyped for this reaction!
announcer of final tournament was john popper and they used a blues traveler song for closing credits
"You two know each other?"
"It's a small world when you've got unbelievable tits, Roy."
Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Melinda Farrelly. She was credited as Melinda Kocsis in this film and married Peter Farrelly that year.
What Script Fact: As is the case with most of his films, Bill Murray ad-libbed virtually every line he spoke, including commercial. He would read over the script, get the general idea, and then discard it. The Farrelly brothers, on the DVD commentary, said that they're very glad he did, because it was funnier.
Cult Status Confirmed Fact: Peter Farrelly called the film's box-office failure the biggest disappointment of their career, attributing the failure to its release during the 1996 Olympics. Farrelly said that it was crushing. However, he said that six to eight months later, when the film was released on home video, it became a big hit.
Music Enthusiast Fact: Urge Overkill is the band that performs "The Star Spangled Banner" at the Reno tournament. Lead singer and harmonica player for Blues Traveler, John Popper, has a bit part as the announcer for the Reno bowling championship. Blues Traveler, in Amish garb, appears at the end of the movie playing one of their songs.
The Rest Of The Story Fact: Bill Murray really bowled three strikes in a row in the scene where his character, Ernie McCracken does the same. The crowd's reaction is genuine and is actually for Murray. Woody Harrelson, on the other hand, was a terrible bowler and according to the Farrelly brothers maybe got one or two strikes throughout the filming.
Casting Notes Fact: According to Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly, they didn't initially take Lin Shaye seriously, after having already cast her in a small role in Dumb And Dumber (1994) at the suggestion of New Line Cinema studio executive and Robert Shaye, who also happens to be Lin's brother. However, when Lin came in to read for The Landlady in this movie, the Farrelly brothers mistook her for a homeless person looking for an ashtray. The brothers politely tried getting her out until they realized it was Lin, in character for the reading. The Farrellys were blown away and didn't see anyone else for the role. Shaye subsequently appeared in more of their films thereafter.
"Whatcha doin', Mr. Munson?"
"Flossin'."
"Flossin? Well, where'd I get 'Munson" from?"
Ya gotta go back!! Watch the final scene at the end of the credits !!!!!!!!
“It was following him around like wasssup” is maybe the funniest thing you’ve ever said. I went back 3 times to watch it over. I’m dying laughing at that.
Strong choice
14:00 I'd have told her I was gay. LOL!
That was outstanding!
I am so damn here for this!
this and Something About Mary are two of the greatest comedies ever made. Woody and Bill and Randy are the best.
Me, myself and Irene is better
The final song from Blues Traveler is one of my favorites!
"I just had to.. I couldn't help myself." - Big Ernie
