Two days ago I purchased an HP Elitebook 8560w i7 2nd gen quad core, 16GB of RAM, an NVIDIA Quadro 2000m GPU and 500GB HDD, I thought that this laptop was thick and heavy until I saw this.
Lol yeah, it’s bulky. One of my upcoming videos will be of the HP 8560w. I also have the I7 one. Beautiful machine. Is your power cord loose in the socket though?
@@MikeDancy Yes I noticed that. I got mine used for 200€. The seller said that he couldn’t get WiFi to work and that the WiFi light was orange which means it’s off but Ethernet worked fine. I ended up installing a windows 7 driver called "HP Power Assistant". after installing it I created a power plan in power settings and then in the Power assistant I clicked the WiFi button and then the button(The top right button above the keyboard) started working again and I was getting wireless connection. I don’t know what caused that but I thought I’d mention it in case you have the same issue.

@@greyman5590 it is a great laptop I bought it refurbished but it is in excellent condition. Also I intend to upgrade its ram. Currently its uses 16 g ram. Cpu and gpu upgrades are planned. Very sturdy construction. It also uses Touch screen. Sadly it had a working version of Windows 10 and I preferred linux based distro. But I will install such a distro in time. What I love about the laptop is its so fast on start up in just a couple of seconds it starts up Windows. If you have some money to spare and you need a great laptop it is a hell of a machine to buy. End report.
A couple of years of easy use and the display can flop back and forth because of the hinges. This is a problem with a lot of Dell laptop computers. The hard drive setup is unduly cumbersome and a sad joke. Whether an SSD or 2.5"HDD, it will be SATA. The shell connector comes in two varieties, one is for a M.2 SATA SSD and the other is for a 2.5" SATA HDD or 2.5" SATA SSD. The BIOS will show a choice between SATA and NVMe, but the NVMe is really a null option. The touchpad will seem sluggish. To enable upgrading to Win 11, modify the Registry-- - Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup - Name: AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU - Type: REG_DWORD - Value: 1 If this was bought used and BIOS changes are locked, try going to BIOS-PW.org No cost, no signup, no nothing except a PW that can unlock the computer. A nice person set this program that works as sort of a checksum generator. If the PW returned does not work, try using some of the other suffixes listed like -2A7B, -E7A8, -6FF7 and so on.
These were previously XFR, not ATG.
Love the vibes in this video, very sincere and honest!
