Cool, I gotta check it out. Of all the games I saw it was the one that stuck out the most to not talk about. I just haven't played and don't know much about it, other than the theme. Thanks for the rec
@@boardgameplays here's a video of the game being played. Total chaos but very fun.its so casual you can play it with anyone who doesn't even like games. or at the pub. It reminds a lot of a game like Taco,Cat Goat, Cheese Pizza. just silly fun. if you're looking for anytying beyond silly social interaction it's not the game for you. ua-cam.com/video/yB0Khy19r60/v-deo.html
Target also sells a cheap version or Raiders of the North Sea (Viking Edition). Bought mine for $24, and as stated, it's the cheap version. All wooden tokens/resources are in cardboard chits, and while they don't look the best (especially the scoring flags), they have one function: They are 1 sided chits. One side blank, so if you wanted to do Mystery Plunder, you can. Also the resources are the same shape, so you can't game picking em from the bag during setup. The Viking Edition also comes with tokens for the Jarl Expansion, and every other component (besides the wood pieces) is a 1 for 1 copy, Cards, board and all. I do plan to pick up the Original, but.... money, and the game plays the same, so it's on the bottom of my list to pick up.
Oh sweet. I am all about reduced quality if the gameplay remains the same while the price goes down. That's a great deal. You know, one thing I didn't mention during the video because I didn't want to be negative was that they carried a lot more hobby board games in the past. Last year I went in to write down the best games there and they had these (and more) TM Ares Ex, Horizons of Spirit Island, Summer Camp, HP Hogwarts Battle, Red Rising, Mysterium. Makes me wonder if they are cutting back, because several of these aren't even online anymore. Weird, huh?
Got Everdell for 50$ from target with discount. Really love this game. It is not only beautiful design, but this game also has an interesting gameplay.
Yeah, it's a game that's really grown on me. I'd say when I first played it I thought the timing was cool and it was in the "really like" category. Now it might have even snuck into my top 10... Great game
Haha, over dramatic, maybe, not really clickbait. Not like I'm roping in the masses 🤣🤣🤣 That'd be "I Played Every Game at TARGET" when I didn't, or "Every Game at Target Stinks" when I like some. I did what the title/thumbnail said I'd do. Dramatic, yeah. Unfortunately, people tend to click on emotion. Trust me, I dislike making thumbnail bunches. I enjoy board games and video work, but thumbnails are stressful. I used to just smile holding a board game box and people didn't care. It stinks to work hours on end on a video nobody even clicks on.
Horrified, for sure! It's my daughter's favorite game. And I love playing it too.

Horrified is probably the best family-weight/gateway co-op of all.

I've never played, so feel free to fill in the details. What do you like about it?

Throw burrito sounds like good game
Top Ten Target Turkeys! 🥷
I have one that i just saw it
Azul I don't understand games makes no sense to me
The strategy is a little obscure and takes a few plays to sink in. It's not always clear right away which placements are helpful.
A lot of these board games I don't understand
Everdell the most beautiful boring game ever!
Haha, I obviously don't agree, but love the strong take. Any games here that you prefer?
I don't like weird looking games I love monopoly games I totally disagree
You gotta stop making these clickbait, overdramatic faces, seriously.
