Incredible! I think I may have watched all of your videos and this is the first time I recognize ZERO of these names! Nice to see the game community grow!!
Hmm I don’t know how I feel about the script for pulling back injured units. A lot of the scripts that aren’t in the vanilla game sure do make it harder for newer players to catch up, until they learn about them that is.
Not a fan of the script to pull back units. If it was included with the base game it would make more sense, but in my admitted light experience (3 chevrons, ~24 OS, mostly play 6-8 games / week) the only times I’ve seriously won the front was when I micro my units intensively, both keeping them repaired and proper positioning. If it’s to be turned off in competitive, it should be turned off for any ranked game no?
7:59, is it possible to disable mini map click? Just like you miss click there, I do it quite a lot in game, its annoying as fu#@ 11:25, well you quite contradict yourself there, if isn't fine in competition then it isn't ok. It is quite simple, anything that adds input into the game, if it is part of the game or it is not fair. Like air, they have retreat when X% of life, if all units have similar, then it would be fine.
Again I don't think ANYTHING is cheating if everyone can use it. I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about the script that does it automatically but I think it's very powerful and might become an issue at some point just like any other widget could be an issue
Is this something that can be enabled in game, or is it imported? If the latter it does give an unfair advantage from a source not available to all players. As such I would consider that cheating
There's two different things being conflated. 1) is a select units filter. Same as 'select all builders' or 'select all units of same type currently selected' but it selects all units with HP above or below some number. This is completely fair and valid and cannot even be turned off by lobby settings. 2) is a custom widget, that when set up essentially spams that selection and orders the units back to a designated point. E.g. You select your army, active the widget and set a rally point. And then every, one second for example, it will retreat all hurt units, and then send back to the front the repaired ones. This can be disabled with lobby settings e.g. For tournaments. Some people say the latter Is cheating, and maybe it is. But given air units actually already have this feature it's not so clear cut. But as it's much harder to set up it does lead to an imbalance between people in the 'know' and those not.

12:35 Oh my, that sprinter was stunned in a rather unfortunate pose, no?
Lol, agreed! Good catch!
Nice commentary and a refreshing game after all this madness :D

hey brightworks, just looking at the map and i think it'd be cool to flood the lowest portion of the map during a stream
Just in time to fall asleep to lol

why do you say pulling back injured units is cheating?

oh i see its a script thats running, that does seem like "cheating" as it bi-passes a skill within micromanagment @@BrightWorksTV
