      I understand when she is saying she isn’t motivated to post videos because she doesn’t get views but the thing is they promise to do daily vlogs or few vlogs a week then they started podcast but they never stick to it so I mean it make sense if you don’t get enough views because you barely post 🤷🏻‍♀️

    We need the old Dina back. Who made videos because she wanted to and did them without them being about promotions. You're being able to do them sort of videos because of the people who supported you by alot of it, watching your videos. It's so important not to forget them people. Your Sid and Dina videos, whether they be challenges or Q&A's were massive to us and we were entertained and your advice made us think about situations, in ways we would've never known how to understand ❤️

    Hi Dina... I love you, but I think two of the issues that your views are down is the inconsistency in your uploads. Plus I feel a lot of us miss your Sid and Dina advice. Those segments were hilarious and informative. I look forward to those. I hope things pick up with you. Plus you don’t appear as enthusiastic or energetic in your videos as use to.

  • @breannarg
    @breannarg 5 років тому +109

    I think blaming subscribers for not watching, when the issue is lack of content and creativity for the content is the problem. You are capable of coming back, but you have to take responsibility and accountability for the issues. When I saw “please watch” I thought it was something important or ground breaking. ThT turns people away.
    Fall back in love with UA-cam for the content you make, not the views, and they will come back

      Sekahar Vatsala “it’s only fair for all your followers that you don’t lose your authenticity” ??? Wtf? You’re basically saying she should stay still and never change. You cannot expect someone to show you the same content at 25 than they do at 30? The truth is that this is the “real Dina” now and what she chooses to upload is probably pretty real for her. If she uploaded things that she no longer does in her real life, just because that’s what old Dina did and to make you happy, that would be extremely inauthentic

    • @aamnahere6250
      @aamnahere6250 5 років тому +1

      @@21972012145525 That's not what she's saying. Her audience has every right to demand authenticity from her just as Dina has the right to decide what she wants to post. Nobody's forcing her. Nobody is saying she shouldn't grow as a person. People are saying she should have more meaningful conversations on her channel and fun stuff like she once had. It doesn't mean she has to become the same person she was years back. It simply means that for most of us her high end lifestyle is neither authentic nor relatable. Dina's relatability was what attracted me to her channel and if she posts diverse content like she once did then she'll have a more diverse audience. Now her videos are all about brands and what she's got and too much of that is neither interesting nor relatable. You can grow as a person and change without becoming too self centred. Again please read people's polite disagreements with respect to her content and refrain from deriving your 'WTF' over the top twisted meanings from them.

I never watched your content for make up, or cooking or interiors or anything else and now that the hijabi content has disappeared nothing stands out for me. All other UA-camr are not as real and honest, you both are. So was your sister's channel. Alhumdulillah leave it to Allah SWT, but be sure to know, in a weird way, you make our lives better. It's funny as we don't personally know you, but you tend to make us laugh and entertain us in the best way possible, like we're part of your family. I love your videos and they actually make me legit happy. God knows what it is about you, I literally don't watch vlogs besides yours, but you're somehow different, and unknowingly you spread smiles and love all around you. Insha Allah you'll be okay regardless of your youtube success. I think it has to do with how good of a mother both you and your mum are (I mean through what we can see) and your advice is legit, raw, truthful and with no filters. Works for me. Be yourself. Be unique as always. With or without any followers. Do it for the ones that love you. Alhumdulillah x

She has a right to her privacy and what she chooses to share with us. But I just feel like she left a lot of us blind sided and in the dark on why she chose to stop wearing the hijab. I’m just curious as to know why though. I want to hear her struggles etc. I have struggled for years and to that I deal with a lot of anxiety. I fear leaving my house alone and I don’t remember being this way. Amongst other reasons why I sometimes no longer wish to observe the hijab.

You should do more content like that and actually videos and not ads for the whole entire video cause it feels to fake. I’m not hating I’m just stating my opinion.

    I only clicked this bc you said please. I usually skip suggestions I get for your videos. Honestly I can’t speak for anyone else but why I’ve stopped checking for your videos and watching your videos is bc I can’t relate much anymore. You’re older w a family, most of your viewers are younger. If you did more videos targeted at an older audience - I think your views would be back.

    Genuine advice: look inward and see if this is that you guys want to do. Dina sometimes you come of miserable and I
    have felt like this detachment.
    Its seems as if you guys are struggling and aren't interested in being here anymore.
    If you are, you got to be regular with content, be authentic and have a positve vibe.
    Both of you need to sit down and have a long talk.
    You guys still have a good base and can come out on top InshaAllah

    Heeyyyy! Welcome back! Look after your emotional health and come back when you're ready - burnout is really sh*tty, but it's now a perfect time for evaluation, discovering what you used to love about making YT content and how to move forward. Check out Yes Theory for some uplifting content that I think both you and Mr Khan will dig - esp the insane challenging of Will Smith to Heli Bungee over the grand Canyon...spoiler...Will agreed! - but their everyday vlogs are more about how human beings connect and to seek discomfort to conquer fear. Inshallah you'll find your natural flow and we'll support your endeavours. Peace out Okhti!

    I used to love watching your youtube channels and Sid's bcus it's relevant to me as a muslim, I'm not a fashion and makeup enthusiast but watching you innovatively making your passion come to live made me wanted to pursue mine. My stance is truly neutral about how I felt you ditching the hijab culture but the fact that most of your viewers/audience is dominated by muslims, I think we felt sort of disconnected. Comparing it with your views and video contents when you have your hijab on, it's really interesting how much it has affected majority female muslims esp those conservatives whlist the ones who stayed watching and accepted you for who you are, are more open minded. I personally don't wana make judgemental opinions about you taking your hijab off bcus it's supposed to be between you and Allah. If taking your hijab off makes you happy then be happy and embrace it. If putting your hijab on makes you demotivated or unhappy or worries you, be the self you wanted to be. You can't satisfy everyone in this social media plateform Dina. You losing views isn't even your fault to begin with and neither do the viewers. I honestly never watch your videos anymore bcus I felt irrelevant, disconnected and I miss the past Dina a lot (I don't blame you for your choice of change). But like I said you do you and can't satisfy everyone and neglect your mental health. Peace be upon you and fam. Xx

    The very first video that brought me to your channel was your birth story with Hanna and I really connected with you cause I was about to be a mother with my first and you were just so down to earth. I would love to see more videos like the motherhood side of you, make up tutorials, tasting food from other countries. I LOVE the Ramadan vlogs especially where you tell what foods you’ll get to eat and how you cook them. I can’t imagine how hard it is to consistently stay in the creative flow and I applaud you for trying and also being willing to say that yea you’re views are dead but you want to fix it.

    I started watching you back when you just got off facebook and into youtube. I really liked your personality, confidence. I liked seeing what lipsticks you had, how you styled different pieces in your closet, how you did your make up. Not because i was going to do my make up the same way or dress like you but because i liked seeing you talk about those things you liked. It was smaller, bad quality cam, in your parents house. Felt genuine, like watching a friend. Then you got married and had kids around the same time i did. I could still relate. But you stopped uploading as frequently and started making more adds. Dont mind them, untill it becomes all adds.

      There are people that i have been following for as long as you that upload on a regular basis, meaning i can look forward to their video. They also didnt change their formula, which was just a genuine insight in their lives. Just goofing with friends and family. Sometimes boring days. I really liked your vlogs. I can also understand that uploading on a regular basis can get tiring and at some point you want to share less of your life with the whole world.

    My advice is to find something else to work on, and grow out of UA-cam. You are growing up, and by getting older, everybody change hopefully for the best. Will UA-cam still be able to help you financially in the future, and do you see yourself still doing this ten years from now? From my perspective I witnessed that social media has had a bad influence on your faith, and it's more important to keep a strong faith than to compromise and stay relevant on UA-cam.

    The reason you don't have views is that like almost all famous people, you've started taking yourself too seriously. All constructive criticism to you is categorically defined as hate. I absolutely have and continue to support your decision to take off your hijab and not get bullied for it. However, you seem to have lost the love you had for making UA-cam videos and it's now all about promotional stuff to make money. I understand it's your job but every video made to promote stuff is over the top. I cannot relate to your high end lifestyle because that's neither my life nor my priority. You yourself have alienated a major chunk of your audience by making the decision to only cater to people who prioritize branded clothes and fancy shoes. Your Q and A videos with Sid introduced me to your channel and they used to be hilarious. You two were completely natural with no pretense. Now it seems like a fake projection of an image where there is a lack of meaningful conversation in favour of shoving more brands and gifts that you've got down our throats. I really used to love your videos and I still watch the old ones from time to time but it's your lack of authenticity, meaningful everyday conversations and relatability that is causing us to not watch.

    Dina, your aura has changed and so has your energy. You don't look happy. You still look beautiful but your sparkle is dwindling. In the hijab days you really looked like a gorgeous queen and had noor in your face. I think you need to make a plan. You have an amazing mother in law that did amazing work in Pakistan. I found her channel via yours. Get more involved, do more sadaqah. Otherwise what is the purpose in life? Taking photos isn't enough you need to feed your soul with noor, with good deeds and you will feel totally different. I noticed for a while that you were looking down from all your social media posts. May Allah give you hidayah and light your path. You're gorgeous and have a great platform. Don't give up.

      What a kind and beautiful comment!😢It's so beautiful how you give her suggestions and encourage her to keep her work/former success with UA-cam up. You didn't judge her or said things that may push her away from the Muslim community and *her faith. Thank you so much for your kindness towards her and your constructive criticism. I think your comment even would inspire and encourage others. ❤ You're a beautiful soul. May you be rewarded and blessed for it. Amen.(*Autocorrect typo corrected)

      @@forabetterrelationshipbetw1244 that's so sweet of you. You can tell Dina and family are good people. We all go through our ups and downs. The times when we are in limbo can be really scary and I don't wish anyone to feel that way even though it is a part of life. This is an awesome platform and there so much good stuff that can be done. Dina could be doing makeovers, image consulting and styling for modest ladies. Designing some stylish burkinis. I would book Dina for a personal hijab tutorial and shopping trip. She has superb taste and I would love to see her succeed. May Allah bless and inspire her and all the other subscribers on this channel. Best wishes to you and thanks for sweet message.

    HELLOOO dina! You probably wont see this or read it but I have loved your vlogs for the longest time, and have kept up with you and your family for ages, my suggestion from my personal opinion is that you should upload the famous family vlogs! those seem to be your most popular and tbh my favorite vlogs. there was nothing more than I enjoyed than coming home from school and tuning into one of your vlogs at home, where your just chilling with the family and your cats! (who p.s. we haven't seen in ages!!) Or a cooking with Sid video, or family dinner, anything! I love those types of vlogs and I think everyone can agree! I hope you never stop vlogging, dont let views get you down, you have a very loyal fanbase and we love you no matter what!

    Honestly, I still love your channel and make it a point to watch your new videos. That being said, I agree with what some people are saying. I really miss a lot of the older content you put out on your channels, particularly the Ask Sid and Dina videos. I know you've expressed feeling hesitant about posting more opinion-based/personal content due to the (frankly ridiculous) backlash you received after taking your scarf off. Ultimately, you need to do what is best for you and your family but also know that there are a lot of us out there who support your decision and value your perspective. I'm not even a muslim but have continued to follow you over the years because your content has given me insight and taught me a lot.

Hope y’all are doing well, I love watching your vlogs when they are genuine and raw like u said u love saying shit as u please. Ads and all are fine ofc secure that bag but also balance it with other content so it doesn’t all look scripted and commercial. I’d love to see some sit down content from you like old times, maybe a talk through grwm or q&a etc. Etc. so you can interact & connect more w the audience. ❤️

He has decided to make it available to all communities. Hes trying to help the youth and hes trying to make it a more multicultural sport. If theres any way you could support this then it would be great.
