I have decided to lock myself in each region of runescape for 24 hours and progress my account and bank as far as possible. At the end of those 24 hours, I take on the hardest PVM content I have access to in that area, and if I lose, I drop everything I gathered in that region and start over again from scratch in the next region. I’ve implemented some rules to make this series harder than what it already is. I won’t be using tick manipulation in any way. I really want my supplies to matter on the way to my goal, so tick eating and prayer flicking will not be allowed until I reach my goal and will only be allowed while attempting the final challenge of the series. I’ll also be implementing a simple milestone system. Once I survive a region, I permanently unlock the ability to keep 1 item if I wipe. This will be multiplicative and will allow me to continue to progress the series at a healthy pace, but failing a region is still incredibly detrimental. Now you might be asking, what’s the end goal and to that I say… the infernal cape. I’ve never attempted this before, and I want to challenge myself in a way I never have with this series. I know Zuk is the hardest PVM content in the game right now, so that’s why I made it the end goal. This means that If I roll Karamja, Zuk won’t be required. Zuk will be immediately unlocked once I successfully complete all 10 regions in a row without failing and will be immediately challenged and if I fail, I start all over again. Regions will be selected at random (except at account creation, the first region will be Misthalin). I’ve also made a rule that once an area has been completed, it cannot be randomly selected again until I die. This stops randomly rolling easy areas with easier PVM content and stacking up permanent unlocks. If you all have any questions or think this is a hype idea, drop a comment or like! - Ігри
Really enjoyed this video concept! A good idea could be to have a running timer on screen to show us how much is left until the region is done/ build suspense. The intro was incredible and I'm excited for the next episode!
I just found out about the plug in for runelite that shows time played on the account, so im definitely going to start adding that!

Very cool idea, and I think the execution is great so far! I do, however, think the pvm content at the end of the time limit should be to the death, in proper roguelike fashion (but i understand wanting to save the hardcore status). Looking forward to seeing more of this, good luck!

Absolutely love this concept! Was a little confused on whether you'd be restarting on a new account or just dropping all gear till the end. I don't think it'd be possible with a full reset, but all the nightmare mode stuff had me on that wavelength I think.

Definitely like the concept, i thought up something similar but it was using a maxed account with only 24 hrs per region. Randomized tasks allow for taking things into the next region up to 8 per region.

@TheOSRSDream He's quick! Yeah that could work, it might be hard to track with boss kills and stuff messing with clean 24hr chunks, unless there's like an offset ability that would be cool, or you could try see how hard a proper countdown timer overlay would be (I'm not sure how difficult that is but it helps me track with videos super well like Link/Rargh for instance)! And awesome that would definitely be nice! I feel like there's some semi-standard size I see on most RS I watch
I know a lot of people play on fixed mode and I absolutely cannot play like that, so it's probably why everything looks smaller tbh haha

Nice concept
You should only allow for the bosses to be killed within the 24 hour period, not after. That would add additional suspense to boss fights, especially when running low in time
I feel like doing the attempt at the end is better than going halfway through the 24 hours and beating it. Kind of loses all the suspense tbh if we know I'll succeed with 12 hours left in the region.

24 hours doesn't seem like a lot, but it will start to add up across the regions even if I fail!

That's why I implemented the 1 item keep per successful reguon, should help offset the wipe once the account really gets rolling!

Nope! It's included in misthalin! I showed the map earlier in the video going over what was included.

Hey man, really liked the concept of the series
In my opinion your voice sounded kind low or muffled, making it better would really improve the quality of the video
Also i think "wipe the account" isnt a very precise way of explaining, maybe "wipe the bank and equipment" would make it more precise and understandable
