Thanks Rob for this reaction. Sami Yusuf is a living legend in the world of Sufi music in the eastern word. His compositions and songs are outstanding and his creativity is beyond imagination.
You have a great taste dear, you've reached the devine music to be honest, Sami Yusuf once said in an interview: "Once you listen to traditional music, you can never leave it" Enjoy..
Thank you Rob for bringing forth this version of Madad by Sami Yusuf. Sami Yusuf is a musical giant in the Middle East. His compositions integrate music in many languages within a single score: Arabic, Farsi, Turkish, Hindu, Afghani. I would suggest/request that you listen to his version of The Meeting. It is executed in Arabic Turkish Farsi and Hindi. the female solo vocals are breathtaking
Hello Rob. I hope you're good... I have a music suggestion for you. The music again belongs to Sami Yusuf. This is great instrumental music. It is "Sami Yusuf - Shirvanshah's Palace". Trust me, you'll love it too. (The song has no lyrics. It is an instrumental piece.)

it's the Names of God

Those drums are Daf. An Iranian instrument and related to Kurdish people of my country( Iran)
No it is not only related to your country. Daf is even being used in our village in Morocco. This is a common instrument in more parts of the world.
