There will never be another era like the Oakenfold in his prime era of prog trance. Just a perfect storm of awesome producers like Tilt dropping epic classic after epic classic. Some good stuff nowadays in prog house and such. But man nothing like that late 90's stuff Oakenfold mixed. Really throws the mind into some blissful other world for sure.

Working my back through old mix tapes and I forgot how good Paul Oakenfold - 2 Years at Cream Residency was. Trance was all about progression ,the builds, the journey and music like this encapsulated all the great things which made us all dance together and be at one.
when oakenfold first played this tune in the annex at cream Liverpool it blew me away it was the start of a magical few years of oakey then the courtyard
I wish I still had my Technics 1210S with all my old vinyls - Plus the mandatory stock of Es which we were all blessed with in the mid-late 90s Not to mention, the UK had the BEST rave and clud scene in the world in thiose amazing days - Every weekend you were spoiled for choice where to go - almost every area had stuff going on and everyone loved it
