Notice the dynamics. He often accents the second 16th note, 16ths straight is quiet, quater notes are played louder. So musical!!

Great lesson, but you didn't say the real secret....that for every one like to play ostinatos must did much exersise some months before and many times and speeds so he can play anything and that this lessons isn't for begginers but most for advanced drummers.Samba has many different ostinatos than no one begginer can play nice except if he has something called talent from scratch but this is not something you can meet every day!
