This is really crazy, the rest of the cryptosphere doesn’t know about zk scaling solution coming natively on Cardano’s L1 and Input Endorsers on our roadmap, not to mention Hydra and other L2 solutions that could all complement each other and work together. No body is paying attention, and for once I kind of like it, less attention less FUD. Just let the meme coin casinos take the spotlight for now, they run out of steam eventually and will want to look for the next narrative.
After Chang With ZK capabilities integrated into the Cardano blockchain at the Layer 1 level, developers will be able to build ZK rollups and ZK smart contracts on top of Cardano, potentially leading to significant improvements in scalability, privacy, and overall efficiency of the network.❤
Great interview Paul! If you do a part 2 could you ask about hardware wallet compatibility with the ‘proofs’ will that arrive at the same time as Plutus 3 or is that another tranche of work?
Why do you think it’s not possible on ergo? If anything ergo is more suited as it as superior access to discrete log based proofs from genesis + parallelism benefits from jvm + a more deterministic authentication language
Ok, we don't have that problem of not knowing the inputs for ZK proof that Account-based chains have, but we still have to know all our Inputs precisely in UTxO, so in the case of swaps, who's going to match all the orders if they can't go directly on-chain? It's like a hybrid between a CEX and a DEX, where there is ExV (Extractable Value).

Hey Paul, pretty new to this space and can't seem to find a answer anywhere. If I want to transfer/cash out my ADA from my Daedalus account, what's the best way to do that. Send it to a coinable? What do you recommend? Thanks
Hey Brian, ya to cash out to your bank you will need to send it to an exchange like coinbase or kraken and then sell it on that exchange for whatever currency you want
Yes ardanas second project orbis was looking g at zk scaling but never really got off the ground. What Phil goes through here is talking about everything that is needed on the protocol level will be in place after the next hard fork which is exciting and now needs dapps and devs to build to take advantage of it
One step forward and 1 step backward for Cardano ? More scalability at the depend of décentralisation ? Why not since most people don't care. However I would rather wait for input endorsers to avoid future conflict with the SEC.
😂 I meeeeean. Slowly dying. Nah, Cardano is an amazing blockchain, with its own priorities and way forward. It’s ideologically driven towards decentralised governance. This might form the foundation for something very special. More organic growth and finally, best, safest, fastest blockchain.
Why scale old tech? It’s a waste of everyone’s time. All the problems cardano is trying to solve since last cycle are already solved in almost every other chain. Cardano is slow, antiquated and years behind technological achievement. Cardano is not even decentralized, almost everything is built on centralized AWS and merely trx are on the actual blockchain. NFTs are links to AWS. Front end is hosted on AWS. What a joke
@@mati1979b the whole cardano state can be stored in one ICP smart contract, twice. ADA is nothing but a slow token ledger, everything built on it can be built some where else and better and you know it 🤫 ICP for example, is capable of running AI Models as smart contracts (which turn out to also be able to host 400gb on data on chain for very cheap). Everything is hosted on chain, no data is hosted on Amazon web services (like everything built with the ADA ledger). ICP has the largest research and development team in the crypto space. ICP also has a bitcoin and Ethereum L2 🤷🏻♂️ Tell me one good reason why ADA is relevant in 2024 when you have things stupidly advanced like the Internet Computer?

Great interview Paul. I’m glad we have devs like Phillip working on Cardano.
Ya I was very impressed with his knowledge and how he was able to explain technical aspects in an understandable manner
Wow. Amazing Interview Paul.
Cardano will scale.
Thanks for watching
Best vid about Cardano scaling I've heard. Goes into layer 1 and 2 scaling in a really simple to understand way 👏👏👏

Great to hear Philip so enthusiastic about the good fit of zk proofs on cardano.

Fantastic guest and conversation. Cardano is gonna fix it's weakest leg of the trilemma stool. Feeling better about Cardano future.
What a great explanation of the Cardano advantage.
Great points and explanation by Philip there, thank you guys!
Woah ZK Scaling lets go this is hype!!!
Brilliant interview.
What a great view point on Cardano, great interview.
Is that the academy from the cardano foundation? They have a very good course on blockchains in general
Wow I must say, Phillip really blew my mind here. I feel like I learned a lot. It was like watching a charles video lol I'm very impressed.
It's good to hear that native ZK scaling is possible. I always feared that L2s which break UX a little would be the only solution. Great interview!
Thanks for the interview Paul
Wow. Fascinating and I’m not a techie. Nice one guys
I am now a fan of Anastasia Labs.
You should be also a fan of Zkfold.
So refreshing to hear truly knowledgeable people speak about how things on Cardano work. Excellent interview Paul!

Paul we're closer to 5 years away from input endorsers on mainnet. It's a very different blockchain than what we have now.
Great video. I have been wanting to get into cardano development and there were a lot of resources in this video.
This is all very encouraging to hear!
what a wonderful explanation. After some time listening to such an enlightening interview of cardano features ...thanks a ton.
Thanks so much, learnt a lot!
Great interview! Many thanks Paul and a huge thank you to Philip for such a great explanation !
Excellent interview, thanks for this
Legendary Paul
Really interesting interview! Thank you Paul and Philip
Great interview, I learned a lot specially about the Cardano limits and capabilities
great work Philip
and thx for your work Paul.
🤙
Phil needs to be more popular, this interview made me more bullish on cardano than I’ve ever been.

5:26 actually there are a lot of Cosmos & Polkadot chains that are governed on-chain since a few years..
Pure gold.

No zk on L1! The cryptographic primitives add unacceptable assumptions. (STARKs might be okay but definitely not SNARKs)
Is Ada DEAD 💀? 😂😂😂😂…no it’s not , is just slow 🎉🎉🎉🎉
