Silencer Shop wouldn't have a clue what their customers wait times are, the never update or even notify the customers until weeks or months after approval.
I have gotten delayed twice for a firearm purchase here in CA., first time for 30 days, my second purchase I got on time and with my latest purchase I'm on day 24 and still waiting
You should get it back any day now. Keep us posted and if it gets to 9 months let us know and we can help figure out what's going on. Did you submit as an individual or on a trust?
I've been waiting 9 months and nothing. I checked my ATF website and it doesn't even show it was submitted. Silencer Central got my money Oct 2023 and said ATF accepted it Nov 2023.
If it got submitted in November, you or someone on your application probably got delayed at the NICS check. I'd recommend reaching out to Silencer Central to see if they can check into it.
Thank you for this video I recently received a UPIN from the FBI/DOJ my 1st NFA transaction took about 4 days. My second NFA transaction submitted on 7/20/24 is still in a pending status. Any suggestions it’s maddening seems like there are no standards at the ATF. Any suggestions on how to move the process along?
@@ryanguldbrandsen7672 Got ya. That definitely indicates a delay on the NICS check, which happens about 30% of the time - often for nothing other than a similar name to a prohibited person.
@@americansuppressor I included my SS #. I reached out to the NICS liaison as well. They just respond with the same email back every time. "Your ATF/NFA application is in process. When an application is completed, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide the final determination. Currently, there is no further status information available.". So, the NICS liaison is likely nothing more than an automatic message email.
@@ryanguldbrandsen7672 That's all good information to know. We're heading to Martinsburg to sit down with NFA Division next week. Would it be alright with you if we bring up your circumstances with them? If it's happening to you it's certainly happening to others as well, and highlighting specific instances can sometimes lead to direct change.
Submission made 7/24/24 with the SS number, UPin number and a clean bg on a solo trust. Kind of surprised by the wait but hopefully it will be better than in the past…
I already have 3 ATF silencers and 20 years concealed carry. My S/N's for two more were submitted Oct 2023 and accepted for review Nov 2023. Still waiting.
A right delayed is a right DENIED. thank you for your hard work
💯

That's wild. It's bad enough having to wait for NFA applications - can't imagine having to wait for a non-NFA purchase. Is that normal in California?
move to ky get the ccdw get a gun non nfa item in 5 minutes dont get the ccdw still likely get a gun in 20 minutes
108 days for SBR on my trust. Much better than the 14 months 2 years ago for 2 suppressors.
@@fltmed that’s awesome! Congrats on the fast[er] transfer. We’ve still got a long way to go, but that’s so cool that you got it back that much faster
@@americansuppressor Hopefully I'll get the same or better results from my 2 cans from Q. 😅
@@fltmed Fingers crossed! Keep us posted

Abolish the NFA and AFT*
Fbi cia hss! Hell, all government agencies!
Less than 36 hours on my 2nd Suppressor this year (and ever) just 2 weeks ago.

@@silvermine2033 thank you so much!!
@@americansuppressor Thank YOU for all you do!
would IL's ban on threaded barrels still stand if suppressors were made legal?
That's a great question. It depends on exactly how the Judge rules, but we would likely have to challenge that separately.
I'm at 180 days and still waiting...
