- Nominated performers from the cast of The Young and the Restless, who just received Daytime Emmy nominations for the upcoming 49th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, chat with Michael Fairman collectively in an exclusive on the Michael Fairman Channel.
Joining Michael are: Outstanding Lead Actor nominees, Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott), Outstanding Lead Actress nominee, Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair), Outstanding Supporting Actor Nominees, Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Jordi Vilasuso (Ex-Rey Rosales), Outstanding Supporting Actress nominee, Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman), Outstanding Younger Performer nominee, Alyvia Alyn Lind (Ex-Faith Newman) and Outstanding Guest Performer Nominee, Ptosha Storey (Naya Benedict). Y&R received the most nominations of all daytime programs in this year's race.
Throughout the virtual roundtable interview, the actors share: what scenes they submitted on their reels that landed them a nomination, their reactions to learning the news they were going for gold next month, words to wise if you win a gold statuette, and the collaborative process they have with one another working in the fast pace of daytime dramas, and much more.

I came to Canada in 1976, since then I was introduce to Y&R I have been hooked since. Y&R inspired me to do Acting classes and drove me into acting, my biggest dream is to appear even as an SOC on Y&R.
Melissa Ordway, Alyvia Alyn Lind & Mishael Morgan were really great this year. I enjoyed Ptosha Storey as Amanda's mom. I wish Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) was nominated. She was also really great when she pretended to be paralyzed & could only show expression through her eyes.
I didn’t even recognize Alyvia! She’s so grownup!
