GTA 5 is much older than WD2, so even to be able to compare the two says a lot about GTA. I feel like the world overall feels smoother in GTA, textures are in a dead tie, and killing someone in WD2 actually feels wrong... in GTA killing someone was kind of funny because of their ridiculous flop and the screaming. In WD2, it feels like what you are doing is more serious. Lighting and sound effects are about the same, GTA 5 animations when running into people are clearly better, but WD2 allows you to traverse across terrain much more fluently. WD2 seems a bit glitchy in the way you collide with obstacles as well. Water in GTA is clearly more advanced, and vehicle control seems to be more realistic in GTA, especially for special vehicles like boats. Models in WD2 are slightly more polished without visible polygonal edges. Shadows are a little bit more advanced in WD2, and colors in WD2 seem to be much brighter and vibrant. Explosions in WD2 look more realistic, and trees and such look more dynamic. Overall, the two games are in a pretty close tie, with WD2 leading by a slight bit. However, I'd say GTA would have to win in the comparison, because it is more impressive that Rockstar could do almost what there is today years back.

If gta should have the graphics it has in this video it's only 2yrs old ;) WD2 only has gotten some months to fix glitches and stuff, while gta have years.. Para mi gusto watch dogs 2 es mejor en la mayoría de los aspectos, tiene muy buenos gráficos, voces al español y otros idiomas, una gran cantidad de misiones secundarias y actividades por hacer, y algo que creo que gta no supo hacer bien fue la vegetación, por su parte watch dogs 2 esta muy vivo en ese aspecto

I knew when I made this comment there would be at least one jackass that would consider the tiny bullet holes in the body as "blood", jfc. Guy hits a car on a motorcycle doing like 75mph and skids 25 yards across the ground, zero blood. Same thing with jumping from the car. I mean it won't even let you run into people on foot at full speed and knock someone over? I mean there are mods for GTA IV that make it look almost as good as GTA V, so that should tell you about how good vanilla GTA V is. Watchdogs 2 looks quite a bit better, but it should. Not only is it newer, but they didn't have to program the game for xbox 360 and ps3 before making the PC version.

Los dos son excelentes juegos, y aún aunque haya una gran diferencia en la fecha de lanzamiento, la comparativa es muy pareja. Esto habla de lo bien que hizo las cosas Rockstar, ya que además GTAV en general, está un poco mejor optimizado. Lo único que me gusta más en Watch Dogs (además del parkour, pero bueno, eso es otro tema y se debe a las caracteristicas del personaje), es la destrucción de vehiculos, cuando se produce un choque. No digo como sale despedido Marcus, sino como el auto se va rompiendo de manera más realista. En fin, excelentes juegos los dos. Creo que la comparación más justa sería entre GTAV y el primer Watch Dogs, que más allá de gustos, para mí es un juego excelente.
Coincido y te olvidaste el tema del combate contra la policía las tomas en watch dogs le da un toque más dinámico sumado al Parkour hace la persecución mucho más satisfactoria mientras que GTA si bien la conducción y armas está muy bueno por otro lado el combate es casi nulo y el movimiento de del personaje muy lento y tosco..cada uno tiene lo suyo y a pesar que me gusta más los watch dogs GTA V es un juego icónico que marcó una era..

The world of GTAV feels empty. There's no gangs or enemies roaming around, if you want to kill bad guys you need to be in a mission. GTAV you can't listen to music on your "smartphone" lol. There's no collectables in GTAV. World feels boring.

GTA V still filling in whindows with white paint while WD2 has the ceiling lights in real view. light reflection is much better in WD2. In all, Gameplay and Physics and trees are better in GTA V. P.S. This is the revamped GTA V. not the first release ugly ass 2013 one.

GTAV is hella better in graphics, but I sure as shit had a blast with WD2. I play it just as much as GTA now, which if I feel like being a hacker, I'll hack in WD. If I want to be a criminal, well, GTA's my go to. Don't expect both games, completely different and having its own purpose, to be the same.
Brenno the engine of WD2 is vastly superior. GTA V can't even handle being stored on less than a 7200RPM drive or it struggles to render, but WD2 has no issues on a 5400RPM drive.

How did GTA 5 get dry too quick? They have tons and tons of online content and still coming out with new DLC that is all FREE. It is not lacking content or game play modes.

When I play without them I like to go through the list of rockstar created missions and race against other people. I also dont mind doing some crate missions when there is not a lot of people in the lobby to minimize risk. Overall I am earning money and buying some cool shit. I just want to earn enough for a yacht and I will be satisfied.

GTA 5 is much older than WD2, so even to be able to compare the two says a lot about GTA. I feel like the world overall feels smoother in GTA, textures are in a dead tie, and killing someone in WD2 actually feels wrong... in GTA killing someone was kind of funny because of their ridiculous flop and the screaming. In WD2, it feels like what you are doing is more serious. Lighting and sound effects are about the same, GTA 5 animations when running into people are clearly better, but WD2 allows you to traverse across terrain much more fluently. WD2 seems a bit glitchy in the way you collide with obstacles as well. Water in GTA is clearly more advanced, and vehicle control seems to be more realistic in GTA, especially for special vehicles like boats. Models in WD2 are slightly more polished without visible polygonal edges. Shadows are a little bit more advanced in WD2, and colors in WD2 seem to be much brighter and vibrant. Explosions in WD2 look more realistic, and trees and such look more dynamic. Overall, the two games are in a pretty close tie, with WD2 leading by a slight bit. However, I'd say GTA would have to win in the comparison, because it is more impressive that Rockstar could do almost what there is today years back.

Para mi gusto watch dogs 2 es mejor en la mayoría de los aspectos, tiene muy buenos gráficos, voces al español y otros idiomas, una gran cantidad de misiones secundarias y actividades por hacer, y algo que creo que gta no supo hacer bien fue la vegetación, por su parte watch dogs 2 esta muy vivo en ese aspecto

I mean there are mods for GTA IV that make it look almost as good as GTA V, so that should tell you about how good vanilla GTA V is. Watchdogs 2 looks quite a bit better, but it should. Not only is it newer, but they didn't have to program the game for xbox 360 and ps3 before making the PC version.

Los dos son excelentes juegos, y aún aunque haya una gran diferencia en la fecha de lanzamiento, la comparativa es muy pareja. Esto habla de lo bien que hizo las cosas Rockstar, ya que además GTAV en general, está un poco mejor optimizado. Lo único que me gusta más en Watch Dogs (además del parkour, pero bueno, eso es otro tema y se debe a las caracteristicas del personaje), es la destrucción de vehiculos, cuando se produce un choque. No digo como sale despedido Marcus, sino como el auto se va rompiendo de manera más realista. En fin, excelentes juegos los dos. Creo que la comparación más justa sería entre GTAV y el primer Watch Dogs, que más allá de gustos, para mí es un juego excelente.
Coincido y te olvidaste el tema del combate contra la policía las tomas en watch dogs le da un toque más dinámico sumado al Parkour hace la persecución mucho más satisfactoria mientras que GTA si bien la conducción y armas está muy bueno por otro lado el combate es casi nulo y el movimiento de del personaje muy lento y tosco..cada uno tiene lo suyo y a pesar que me gusta más los watch dogs GTA V es un juego icónico que marcó una era..

- So well optimised, a rare case in 2013.

- The fact which makes the game so good is you can hack through much more things than watch dogs, gameplay is fun.

a lot of GTA V fanboys here but im sure none of you noticed that the lights in GTA V buildings aren't as real as the lights in the buildings on WD2. GTA V still filling in whindows with white paint while WD2 has the ceiling lights in real view. light reflection is much better in WD2. In all, Gameplay and Physics and trees are better in GTA V.

GTAV is hella better in graphics, but I sure as shit had a blast with WD2. I play it just as much as GTA now, which if I feel like being a hacker, I'll hack in WD. If I want to be a criminal, well, GTA's my go to. Don't expect both games, completely different and having its own purpose, to be the same.
If watch dogs 2 was being made by rockstar this final version would be the alpha in the hands of rockstar.
Brenno the engine of WD2 is vastly superior. GTA V can't even handle being stored on less than a 7200RPM drive or it struggles to render, but WD2 has no issues on a 5400RPM drive.
LOL... u got no idea what amount of optimisation rockstar delivers.. rocktars attention to detailing is astronomically better than this shit...mayb u can say the wd is more ambitious than gta..but wd is very poorly made...the game world is full of things but all things are half baked...one more thing gta5 is from 2013 wd2 is 2016..still gta has some of the core elements better ...world physics,water, weather, world design,lighting,driving mechanics (WD1 and 2 driving is a JOKEEEE),better sound effects,better shooting. there is a reason rockstar takes a lot of time to make these games. just in few months red dead 2 will come out and u will know how good the next gta is going to be.. i think if ubisoft takes time in making games they will be as good as gta games..

solo puedes apoyarte en que algo tiene rockstar que hace que me de más ganas de jugar gta, lo siento más vivo, pero en Watch Dog es más acartonado o monótono los colores,, no me agrada visualmente y tampoco en la conducción, tiroteos ni personalización. En graficos es mejor Watch Dog pero no me atraen y solo es por decir que tambien GTA es un juego viejo como mencionas, la mejor comparativa sería el red dead redemption para ver como evoluciono rockstar en gráficas.
Es de 2015, al menos investiga de lo que vas a hablar.

WD2 me recuerda a Bioshock infinite y a Fallout 4, todo luce un tanto "sedoso". Tal vez un pequeño ajuste al gamma solucione eso.

How did GTA 5 get dry too quick? They have tons and tons of online content and still coming out with new DLC that is all FREE. It is not lacking content or game play modes.

ll Lawrence ll If its not your thing its not your thing. Me and my friends do heists together, we work for each other as associates doing crate and car missions. When I play without them I like to go through the list of rockstar created missions and race against other people. I also dont mind doing some crate missions when there is not a lot of people in the lobby to minimize risk. Overall I am earning money and buying some cool shit. I just want to earn enough for a yacht and I will be satisfied.
Cameron Barlow There is tons of things to do Online. First buy an apartment and some cars and then make some friends and do heists and missions.
This is fun for no-life kids - spending hours and hours with this role-playing virtual life, spending time with people you never met.

You can literally do more stuff in W_D2 than GTA V. GTA is dead as fuck even in online if you dont have group of friends to play missions... in W_D2 even trolling npcs with those robots is fun. But seriously how long can you look at wooden animations of running characters in GTA... or even what, drive cars? Through whole eternity... and where is that fuckin 2 BIGASSS Singleplayer DLCs and Online Heists Part 2. Seriously rockstar fanboys should fix their eyes and calm the fuck down. Even characters are ugly as shit. APB Reloaded does it better with char creation and is even older game. Sorry R* fanboys.
