I never understood when I was growing up why more females didn’t look to each other for support. Instead of competing w each other and feeling threatened!!

After my first day, I think in middle school, I went home to my mother so confused. I said something along the lines of "mom I don't understand. I was trying to make friends but everyone was talking about everyone else and making fun of each other behind their backs and just saying mean things about one another." And my mom laughed and basically told me that's how most young girls are and she was glad I didn't understand it. I ended up dropping out of school into the 10th grade because I couldn't handle being bullied anymore and I was sick of dealing with the back and forth drama and the depression and anxiety I got from it.
