@Prasanth Rao, thanks a lot for sharing a gorgeous and extended rendition of Nat by Mansur ji, even though the rasa-anubhuti is marred by several audio jumps owing perhaps to the original recording, or the digitization thereof. The raga nomenclature is indeed misleading. I was not fortunate enough to listen to Mansur ji live but have heard Rajshekhar ji sing this on several occasions and he also always sang it as Nat. Glad that you have rectified it in the description, if not in the title itself.
@@arupsengupta2454 who sings this composition as Sawani Nat, please? Mogubai, Jitendra Abhisheki, Mansurji all recorded it as Nat. Sawani Nat is a very different raga, the composition in it is Anahata Naad.
LOVELY, YOU KEEP ON LISTENING REALLY AN ENDLESS BEAUTY PRESENTED BY THE ALL TIME GREAT PANDIT MALLIKARJUN MANSUR

A delicate treatment for the raga. Rare on UA-cam. Thanks.

Mansur NEVER called it by that name. He and Moghubai both sang it as plain Nat.
I heard and knew it as Sawani Nat. Raga-nomenclature is so confusing in Jaypur-Atrauli gharana!
