Smith is one of the most inconsistent players in the NBA and has been one of the most talented in the league, but has never really reached his potential until the 2012-13 season, where he is having a career year. J.R. Smith who has been driving George Karl mad for several years in his stint with the Denver Nuggets, has finally found a home in the Big Apple.

For some odd reason Jr is one of my favorite players to watch. Probably because he's so unpredictable and will chuck it from anywhere. He will literally pull up a step back 3 after blowing past a defender..Just air brain shot selection but I love it lol
The most inconsistent player in NBA history, he could go 14-18 one game and make 11 threes against the heat the next game he could go 3-16..... Incredible talent tho

That spin move at 0:48 seconds is one of the most beautiful things i've seen in all of sports. I really liked the Carmelo Anthony , J.R Smith one two punch that NY had last season. They were fun to watch. I just don't know what happened this season. Drastic turnaround from last season.
Victor V melo don't suck the knicks suck.all J.r.Smith need is to calm it down on the court and let the game come to him,he forces things at times.Honestly i didn't mind you saying smith is a bum(even though i'm pretty sure he got more money than you) but saying melo sucks is where i think you started smoking weed.

Victor V nah they traded novak and fields for barnagni. novak spaced the floor cause all he did was corner 3 and fields was a solid role player. andrea just fit in with the knicks. also mike woodson is partly blamed

I randomly think about this highlight reel every so often. Its that fucking good. Chills everytime i come back to watch it, a whole 8 years later.
He would be an All-Star if he focused more on the game and played it the right way and also if he was consistent. He goes like 6-8 from 3 one game then 1-6 the next.

really does make me miss last season
His inconsistency is really what's separating him from being an average player to being a good player. There are times when he can just go off and be a monster on the court but times where he just bricks hard. The playoffs this year for the Knicks proves that. Still, J.R Smith is amazing and very fun to watch when he is doing well.
