Last time I was at Kingholm Quay was in early 1987 as a teenager, but never thought the High would have a tidal bore, but have seen the Solway bore more recently in the Esk and Eden channels close to Geetha and as it goes under the M6 just south of junction 45.

I enjoy watching the boar wave arriving on the river nith in Dumfries as well as looking out for otters which are sometimes seen on the river.
