The bag shown I’ve used for 2ish years now and it’s been awesome. No rips tears or issues. The smaller pouch in the front also can fit the ultimate guard 4-pocket binder. The two pockets on either side can fit a monster playmat tube and hold them securely.
For all those wondering about the stickers: It’s my coding system for my cedh cube. I can switch decks in between games. And it saves me money, so I don’t have to keep buying cards. My playgroup has since adapted the idea. I guess I’m pretty influential lol.
Could you have just not killed Kevin and just held Aetherflux as a sword hanging over everyone’s head? If you are really worried you can kill Kevin on Jay’s end step, though most of Kevin’s interaction doesn’t work on colorless things
@@DefCatofficial I had to get around that grafdiggers cage, I couldn’t reanimate dockside. I think I should have cast Aminatou, and flickered dockside.
@@bryantan4228 I did think about that. I don’t Remeber exactly why, but I’m sure it had something to do with Kevin recasting Kozilek, drawing the cards and being able to counter stuff. Kozilek is a HUGE threat and Kevin is a great player. But I could have just been being too cautious.
@@Ajn37MNm39fgyt7u Eh, this is not a new deck. It was heavily played and built back in the day (like a decade ago, so admittedly not in a modern cedh meta). Original Kozilek vs Kozilek 2.0 was heavily tested and debated. The draw usually ends up very similar between the two and the counter is usually weaker than Annihilator from everything I've seen and read regarding the deck. By all means though, I would be happy to hear why the counter ability makes the difference in a deck that needs all the cards it can get to be cheap mana rocks to play out its commander repeatedly. If anything, the Annihilator 4 seemed to me the only reason the deck ever worked to begin with. Just taking this one set of games, the counter did nothing meaningful (protected Semblance Anvil which was not a meaningful or useful card to begin with) while Annihilator would have stopped Prosper from winning (killing all his permanents). Might not have got them the win in the end (depending on if Aminatou could win on their turn) but it certainly would have given the Kozilek player more chance to win. Of course this is a laughably small set of data to draw conclusions from. That said, sac four seems plenty meaningful in most situations.
I have that bag and I absolutely love it, it works perfectly for anyone who needs a bag for lots of decks, it holds the clear cubes as well as large deck boxes. I love that bag and i recommend it to anyone who needs a bag
They have a Cedh box filled with common cedh staples. They can assemble many decks out of this box. They use the stickers to quickly assemble the decks.
I know it'll probably be a lot of extra work with video making, but is there any way you guys could add a tracker for the number of cards in each player's hands? I often find myself wondering how much people are holding.
We did that a long time ago. It added HOURS of extra work to every game for a very small gain. We had to chop something to keep the turnaround times reasonable, and the hand size tracker was the thing that ended up having to go.
Why did Alan cast Burnt Offering at 5:54? He spent 1 black mana to cast the spell and got 1 black from it resolving so the only effect was Viscera Seer died for nothing? Other than adding +1 storm but he didn't play a storm spell.
Been using the backpack for two years and if you’re an enfranchised player without a similar implement, I simply urge you to consider this, it’s seriously amazing.
I like the product placement every time someone plays Dockside. Way better than the sponsored segments in literally every video these days. (No hate for having sponsors. Gotta get that bag somehow, capitalism is just the death of art)
I want that 5 color mana tracker Jay is using @11:38. Did yall make that custom or buy it from somewhere? Would help replace 5 cards with 1 in my token deckbox.
I mean. I've never been a cedh player or really cared about cedh in general until recently. And "Aggro" and "Stax" in a more casualish environment don't go together
I'd love to see a video explaining the sticker-dot system. Are all the cards double sleeved and the stickers are on the inner sleeve? Are all the dots generally in the same spot based on their colour? I also have to assume there is something like a crib sheet which explains the decks?
Not really, any rock or land fhat can produce a color and you're good to go. And it doesn't do much against most other decks either so it's usually a bad slot
Technically jay couldn't have killed himself with doomsday because the aetherflux reservoir would've given him 1 life, then he would've lost half of 2 and gone back to 1. He did also have an ancient tomb he could've used to kill himself tho.
This channel has a great content, amazing editing and I just love it! I always look over the decklists to see if they can give me ideas on a High Powered EDH. Just thank you for all that quality content
In g2, wasn't the aetherflux activation early? It should have been removed from the game along with every other card that Kevin owned. Edit: it was not Kevin's aetherflux. Nevermind
Also mayhem devil could killed in the last game. The reservoir was a little "to much". Even so, this gameplay was pretty good overall. I love the variety on the table and the wincons.
I'm honestly not sure if Mayhem Devil would've done it? The line seems a bit odd based on the table. When Mayhem Devil hit the table, the total remaining life for opponents was 63, so you would need 63 sac triggers. The line I can see that would get that would be Dockside + Culling the Weak/Burnt Offering, either or. There were 4 artifacts/enchantments on the battlefield, so dockside would make 4 treasures. Plus 1 from saccing the dockside gets you 5 devil triggers per loop. Based on a life total of 63, Jay would need to repeat the loop 13 times to kill. Each loop involves escaping 2 spells, so that eats 6 cards from graveyard per loop, meaning Jay would need 78 cards left in grave at that point in order to go off. The Stitcher's Supplier/Culling the Weak line is mana positive but card neutral, unfortunately, so it would have eaten a good portion of the library to set up. You would be able to PitA plus LED to dump cards back into the grave, but I feel the damage was already done by that point. Then again, I wasn't tracking library count, so who knows?
I gotta say: counterbalance with top-of-library tutors might be the greatest and most evil thing I've seen in a while. I love it.

Kozilek was the first Commander deck I built from scratch. We love to see it!

recast docside before you killed Kev via reanimate then tutored another way to flicker dock side or draw cards

Out of curiosity, what does those circular stickers on the players cards?
