Turton & Entwistle Reservoir, Edgworth - 4K walk - Slow Scenes UK

Let's go for a walk round Entwistle Reservoir! This is one of three reservoirs in the area (the other 2 are Wayoh and Jumbles). It was built in 1832 and was one of the largest and deepest reservoirs in the country at the time of its construction. The reservoir hold roughly 3.4 million litres of water and provides almost half of the drinking water for the nearby town of Bolton. It's a 3 mile walk round the reservoir, with amazing views over the water. It's perfect for a warm sunny day like today!
