I led the Black Peter to Ratty during his ambush on me, and the guards there don't give a damn about him, even if he hits some of the guards during his attacks!
And these guards can die because of poison... they still wont care. Another broken thing is in ledetchko when you are looking for the tanners son. You can meet 2 bandits at the tavern, if you punch one of them, guards will arrive. They will kill the bandits and try to put you in jail for murder
And @Michal Sokolowski Right!! What is up with that system. Kill a bandit in middle of town and murder charges are flying around. I mean they're attack me, what you want me to do!

I have been trying for a little bit on that. I am sort of taking a break on trying to siege down that place. I think I spent about 7-8 hours so far trying to test out different spots. The biggest problem is the invisible walls on the castle. You wouldn't think there would be the need for invisible walls on a freaken castle on a hill, but there are or either object blockers go much higher than I need. It is on my list of things to do, but I need a break from trying that for a little bit. I almost burn myself out trying to do that.
@@helicalgoose 7-8 hours... I gave up after 1. Tried to shift myself up into that gate operating room, using my horse and talmberg finest beef. Not even close. My curiosity and laziness won. I ended up using console command "goto x y z" to get inside. I won't spoil it for you :)

He deserves a drink for certain! I know everyone just beats on him as soon as possible to level up. So it does not surprise me that he could take a beating from a bunch of peasants for hours on end :P
lol the good endings are coming once again :) I was seriously trying to trap them inside the church at Pristlavistz or whatever. When they climb the ladder to the top or mid section they sort of bug out once they surrender. However, the problem is that once you reload the game they just magically appear 5 Kilometers down the road. Bah... I wish I could've trapped them both, would've made the world a better place :P
He was a tough one for certain. I did not show it, but he got me killed a couple times because the bandits target you first not him. Then he strolls over throws me off my horse and fights me instead of the three heavily armored guys and their pooch! I was also surprised is that he does not dent up in bandit fights. He dents up when you fight him in the ring, but not out there? Very strange mechanic.
Not a glitch but I discovered you can kill Black Peter if you face him in the final of the tourney but loose, he and the other competitors go to sleep in the camp behind the arena (the garden area where you pick flowers for Capon one evening)... Although he's not at the next tourney I wonder if you keep killing competitors what happens?

Yah I believe Weihang Xu is correct! If you murder all the contestants or just a few it just gets canceled. Now black peter, can you kill him before that quests? Does he stay dead or come back? Uhhh, I am not certain. I know the other contestants even if you kill them, they do come back. Even after multiple murders. They come back within a week or whenever the next tournament comes up. You can't break it that way :(
@@jeana8224 If you want top armour risk free, go to skalitz, just before you enter a battle will most likely be happening in the town square. Crouch sneek behind a building (immediately to your left) and skip 2hrs...loot the bodies for top level armour/weapons... You can do this as much as you like.
I must have tried jumping on top of my horse for a couple of hours at least when I was trying to get in the hunter's stand that has the traffic cone and a chest in it but no way to get up to them without getting randomly put there after passing out from drinking but alas it wasn't meant to be
You can definitely get in there without drinking yourself into a stupor. I think I will have to make a video about all the traffic cones and getting into there. There is a technique called "beef jumping" which can get you into those places :) I made a couple videos detailing how to beef jump, but I think a new video will have to appear for the cones.

Bernard can be killed during robber baron. During the fight I accidentally hit him with a mace with bane poison but it fails the game and forces reload
Ah, thanks for the tip. That is one of the quests I forgot about, but I wonder if there is a way to time that to be honest. Like if you complete the quest but poison Bernard before and watch him slowly die. Bane poison is devastating, and with him so far away from a bed, there is no way for him to recover, unless the game just puts him back invulerable, but I am very curious now, thanks :D
@@helicalgoose capon can be killed here as well I've got him before on accident to and had the bandits kill him as well. Considering the game knows capon may get in a fight with that mission he still wears his regular clothes and has no armor lol. These days I just solo robber baron with a mace :) its to easy for capon and Bernard to die if you try fighting them that way.
I like this more and more. Once I get my next big project out of the way, I will have to investigate this deeper, see if we "can break" the game a bit more. I smell opportunity. Thanks for the tips :D

In order to get the fight sequence you go through all the tracking the bandits and stuff but don't approach them and trigger the conversation scene instead once you found their camp go back and tell bernard and everyone goes to fight with a cut scene of bernard calling dude out and you get some dialog options and one of them is along the lines of we can take them lol but I've never successfully done it cause capon or bernard one always dies usually capon.
The funny parts of the game is what makes me keep coming back. With the broken NPCs they have a certain charm to them. They are broken, but not like a frustrating broken, just like a awww look at the poor NPC.
@@helicalgoose The game looks amazing and has good storytelling, Warhorse Studios has done a good job of creating the atmosphere of that time. I still remember some of my favorite missions like Mysterious Ways, A Needle in a Haystack, A Woman's lot DLC mission, etc. I am currently at "The Die is Cast" and still have to finish the story but I would love to replay the game. The game has some issues like limited wildlife, poor NPC & Animal AI, normally they behave fine but when they start to run my god 🤣. Sometimes I just login into the game and massacre people in towns 😀
I am glad that you're giving this old game a try. But there is something satisfying about bringing out Immortals in the game and giving them beat down from bandits or just your horse.

Having a bunch of angry guards following you for an hour across the entire map is quite enjoyable. Especially when they start to smack each other and surrender to each other out of nowhere like wtf is going on! Wish I had that part recorded, such a strange sight.
Yah, I hate how I lose reputation with him out of nowhere.(I do not blame the devs because they made it like that, because its a real RP game) But anyways, he is a butt munch and needed to be taught a lesson. Also, if you like for free, you can get one of the fastest horses in the game, just hit him at full speed. He does take damage and will eventually just give up with no crime. The only real way I found attacking those jerks!
I wonder, do immortal NPCs teleport? On a schedule? They usually do to keep their positions intact... So what happens if you put them into a perpetual state of inactivity somehow? Like locking them into combat with another NPC but unable to finish it, causing them to not despawn to relocate.
Hmm from what I can tell with the marker tabs on the characters they do not really teleport but move in real time.This is true with even non-immortal characters. (Even the ones we boot off the map and they come back). From what I can tell with locking them into combat is tricky. I believe the NPCs in a random events by roadside do despawn after you get x-amount of distance away. Meaning that locking them in combat with them does no good. The only bandit NPCs that exist when you're away (I think at least) would be the Pristlyvists or however it is spelled, or other story bandits. Getting the immortal NPCs stuck is not really an option since they do have a teleport poof, that either takes them off the map and re-enters or just nearby. Honestly I have not messed with that too much since it is extremely time consuming but would be interesting to perma stuck one of those baddies :P
The other thing is that there are multiple clones of those characters, like I know there is a Rattay Sir Radzig and a Skalitz Sir Radzig and that may also be the case for other characters as well.
You should really get a woman’s lot so you can mess around with Theresa, and also so you get the dog. Though I’ll admit it’s disappointing cause it’s rather short.

You kill them, if the bodies are found, tournament will be canceled, if not, they’ll respawn in combat but disappear afterwards.
