The one thing I have seen in my old life in America is that when this becomes a topic somehow black folks think lighter toned folk aint got the same issues.

@@BlindMellowJelly We don’t believe light skin people don’t have the same issues, we shared that it is a different perspective. We all experience prejudice but the way I experience it as a small brown skin girl, another person who is a lighter shade than me may have a different perspective. None are better or worse than the other, it’s just the reality of it. Hell you can grow up in the house with siblings & every one has a completely different experience.
