Haha I just saw a more recent interview with Steven and you can see he got some camera schooling after this one. Anyone that's not used to being interviewed in front of a camera is gonna struggle - he's just keeping it real.
oh leave him alone hes a basketball player what do u all expect him to be a PR expert and hes only 17 years old here people! .This was taken 2 years ago..And hes improved big time, and has been groomed for media now and glad to say hes actually won media and fans over with his typical Kiwi wit and charm, hes come a long way ...Now media can't get enough of him now..Great stuff Steve! At the end of the day, haters aren't doing what ur doing!
From following Adams on Twitter, I can already tell that he has a very dry sense of humor. This interview is very indicative of that. I can't wait to see him play.
Cut the kid some slack.. he obviously has not had media training / exposure. He's a typical kiwi who is laid back and very humble which is very evident. He doesnt talk smack. Mate ma'a Tonga Steve!
He has 3 older siblings who are athletes and that is the best interview he can give? Tragic caps in his education. He doesn't need to talk himself up, but he does need to talk. It's not until 2:12 that he starts to open up.
What just because hes a very good athlete hes shy and reserved, i think the stereotype of sportsman being big mouthed and arrogant has become socially accepted to the point where if you aren't you are weird
Hahahaha...felt sori 4the guy with the mic...like he had to think of lots more questions 2ask weas wat would normally take say som1 else 1min/100 words; Steven would be like .30sec/10 words?? Hardcase alright :-P
Gumby as hell.... But still an awesome baller from NZ. Thank goodness we're starting to get some awesome big men. All we need now are some pure point guards and we are sussed. GO STEVEN!!!! Chur.
i cant even make it through this whole "interview" lol pitt fans hope u have fun with this nudnik, his vacuous "personality" is liable to bring the entire team crumbling down
