Animations are not perfect in PÉS, but they have been improving a lot, at least in PES players are not superhumans who literally fly on the pitch with zero sense of weight and inertia. Players in Fifa move like there is no gravity and they are on the ice.
At least the guy is really honest about PES's prospects and how it is faring compared to FIFA. He knows what the game's shortcomings are, and he's not ashamed to talk about the time since the game was introduced for PS3 and the franchise went downhill. After purchasing PES last year, I will definitely buy it again this year. But I have one very minor pet-peeve. The shorts are too bulky this time around, they look like basketball shorts. But thats something very minor. Hopefully they will adjust that. But can't wait to get this game, looks fun.

Tara Radm PES's version of career mode is called master league. It's as deep and arguably deeper than Fifa's career mode apart from no lower league teams being in the game. North london for example is arsenal, it is the same team with all the same players, its just the team name is not licensed so its called north london and the kits are fake. However in this years PES you can download a save file from the internet to put onto a usb stick to then be able to port it to your PS4 to have on PES meaning you can have all the teams licensed with real kits and names.
I'm thinking of switching to PES for the first time since pes 6 but i wanted to know if the kits and logos i import are only for exhibition games or whether they'll be available in career and other modes
get a FUT which doesnt require me to spend money on microtransactions and make it run at the same level as fifa does on xbox and i might consider getting this game
Compete? They are not even on same level. Fifa gameplay is way realistic since year 2012. Good for them is that PES gameplay started to look like FIFAs since PES 15. This looks almost as good as Fifa 15. To compete on same level they would need a lot of work but they are on right track!
This game is pretty good I don't get in to soccer at all I'm a big dude that would play football and never had excitement to play it but I'm telling you that I had fun after I kind of started learning the buttons it was something different and I got bad ass goals

My biggest concern with KONAMI is that they do feel a little bit cocky, after last year game. In the demo i can clearly see some issues from last year game that haven't been solved yet : defenders still won't clear the ball properly,keepers can be very stupid still,in the last year game the referee would stop the game very easy for every little touch however this time it's the very opposite way: i can be killed during the game and the stupid ref won't do shit!! They should return to their modesty and fast!!!

The problem i have with PES is the absolute atrocious goalkeeping AI. The keepers are so bad, it takes me out of the game completely. Scoring is very very easy on the hardest difficulty. FIFA is not like this. Not saying FIFA is better, but the goalkeeping needs to be fixed.
In FIFA it's extremely unresponsive. And game wise FIFA is plagued by micro-transactions and kids. Also it's the same game getting released for no reason. Good games take years to make and FIFA is the same game as the first one.

I look at this and coming from a player that has played Pes for many years and Pes 15, I still prefer Fifa I feel the gameplay is much more fluid in Fifa much more responsive. As well as the licenses that you would want in a game UT is another one I played Pes 15 for about 3 hours total in the whole year Fifa I played 50 hours. We all give EA a hard time but still they produce the best sports games on the market. It may take them a while to realise what the fans want but eventually they do it, and keep producing year on year realistic and fun games. Just my opinion.
There are number of consistent issues due to pes 2016 or even last versions are just not as good as fifa 1. We can only play ucl in pes where as in fifa there are leagues from all over the world and we can also play ucl in manager mod so all those stuff just kills pes 2. Poor game play as compare to fifa 3. Poor graphics as compare to fifa just look at the hair in both fifa and pes you will get to the point and one more thing pes graphics look pretty awesome during cut scenes or celebration but during game it looks wearied sometimes colorless 4. Pes has default wearied controls on controller which is quite irritating for some one who used to play fifa since childhood 5. It looks easier to play even at most difficult level as compare to fifa where at legendary level you face some intense competition from computer

Not having licenses makes the editing of PES amazing...you can edit almost every team in the game...you can download hundreds of "classic" kits from many pes editing sites that makes this games unbelievably deep...you can download official jersey too, for free, that takes 2 mins to download and install...at the moment I have all the official kits and classic teams in my PES including Man Utd 99, Arsenal Invincibles, Inter Milan 03-08, Ac milan 03-07 & many more

In FIFA it's extremely unresponsive. And game wise FIFA is plagued by micro-transactions and kids. Also it's the same game getting released for no reason. Good games take years to make and FIFA is the same game as the first one.

What changes other than graphics have happened in FIFA. A good game cannot be made in a year and kids keep on spending money on ultimate team

I look at this and coming from a player that has played Pes for many years and Pes 15, I still prefer Fifa I feel the gameplay is much more fluid in Fifa much more responsive. As well as the licenses that you would want in a game UT is another one I played Pes 15 for about 3 hours total in the whole year Fifa I played 50 hours. We all give EA a hard time but still they produce the best sports games on the market. It may take them a while to realise what the fans want but eventually they do it, and keep producing year on year realistic and fun games.
Just my opinion.

There are number of consistent issues due to pes 2016 or even last versions are just not as good as fifa
1. We can only play ucl in pes where as in fifa there are leagues from all over the world and we can also play ucl in manager mod so all those stuff just kills pes
2. Poor game play as compare to fifa
3. Poor graphics as compare to fifa just look at the hair in both fifa and pes you will get to the point and one more thing pes graphics look pretty awesome during cut scenes or celebration but during game it looks wearied sometimes colorless
4. Pes has default wearied controls on controller which is quite irritating for some one who used to play fifa since childhood
5. It looks easier to play even at most difficult level as compare to fifa where at legendary level you face some intense competition from computer

It's dumb how people saying Fifa16 is better than pes16 or pes16 is better than Fifa16 when they haven't even played the game yet smh so really their opinions and comments has little weight to them. We should be happy that Fifa has competition...because competition breeds better games, unlike nfl madden that is the same dried up shit released every year. Pes demo is coming out in 2 days and I'm sure they're going to listen to the feedback and attempt to fix some problem in pes, but Fifa on the other hand just want your money. But I will be playing both demos before I make my final decision.

Konami should go all out for Premier League rights. If they can get that, it'll be a hammer blow to EA. Who wants to play FUT with made up English teams? It's the BPL that dominates FUT.

Not having licenses makes the editing of PES amazing...you can edit almost every team in the game...you can download hundreds of "classic" kits from many pes editing sites that makes this games unbelievably deep...you can download official jersey too, for free, that takes 2 mins to download and install...at the moment I have all the official kits and classic teams in my PES including Man Utd 99, Arsenal Invincibles, Inter Milan 03-08, Ac milan 03-07 & many more
If they just change the visuals make it more colourfull and less dry plus copy ultimate team then pes will beat fifa

This game looks like it was made by people that have never watched a football match in their life and are just coding something from a list of requirements ("green pitch, white ball, ball moves towards goal in straight line"), developers probably locked in some cubicle with no contact with the outside world. Knowing how Konami operate I'm probably not far from the truth

what compare? i played PES since PES2 and every year the gameplay is better than fifa,dispite all stupid kids say that fifa "this year is better,as better graphics and as all names",hahaha what a joke. Want to play go for pes, want to show to your friends go fifa. EA makes games just for show, example need for speed and fifa, but for you to play you go asseto corsa and pes.

WTF IS ALL THIS STUPID ONE MAN DRIBBLING!! PES is always about the through passes, one two's, one touch, etc. It is really a football game that proves that what goes in the pitch with players without the ball is as important (running into positions etc.). This shit sucks.

XProject13 pes is huge in Brazil, Italy, Spain ... you know, countries where people actually know about football.
+IpetTiger well PES was only better in Brazil cuz FIFA didn't have the Brazilian league this year and FIFA never had the "Libertadores", so that's the only reason why people in Brazil prefer PES
