Hi Leon, I've got the same carb on a McCulloch 550, same choke system. An ole timer told me that the choke might be a primer instead. Just about to tear into mine as the auto and manual oil not working. Glad I found and subscribed to your channel..can't beat the old iron.
Sorry, I have no idea. There may be a later bar from a SP125 or similar that may fit, but I am not the guy to ask. I'd post that question on Arboristsite or one of the Facebook groups.

My mac 250 you push the choke lever in and twist ccw to hold the choke on.
There were different versions apparently...I'm not super familiar with these, so I'm learning as I go!

Hey Leon is there a 12 or 12A before the serial number on that saw? That should be .404. .063
I'll check...I also plan to measure the bar groove to be safe.
250 looks tempting for a bigger bore!
