Carb kit with new diaphragm. Pop the Welch plug replace the check valve new lines filters just cause. And that hard starting should stop

My mac 250 is a bit grumpy at times, but its never been that hard to start unless its been out of fuel for a long time.
Is it a lot happier after it's warmed up? I let mine warm up before I made my vid.

Dam dude I never had that problem you need to do some carb work. It should fire right up!

Nice saw sounds the same as mind but I was cuttting 15 years old hard wood ,its hard to get these saws to perform when they are over 50 years old Banger

i havent done anything to this saw other than hit it with a couple waves of degreaser and sharpen the chain. i bet if i was to clean or rebuild the carb and clean the points it would prob start after a couple pulls, it does fine once u warm it up a sec

I would think that cycling it dry that many times is tough on the engine an you would be better using engine starting fluid.
