awesome, awesome, awesome teaching!! I'm comparing this to my textbook and I had to fill in personal notes from your lecture. I was confused why a cos(theta) was just randomly placed in the book and and also why in my textbook it was just told to "assume theta = 0" without any explanation but you answered it sir. Thank you for filling the gaps!
@@prakashtripathi3044 bhai surface tension is represented by 'S' whereas SL is the force and 'S' represents coefficient of surface which misleaded you and in formula derivation S is basically S×L which is a force....🤓🤓🤓

Since Surface Tension is combination of both adhesive and cohesive force. If adhesive force is > Cohesive force then net resultant is in North West direction as shown in HC Verma page no 289 fig14.23a

Sir you are very educated .....I dint understand the derivation in my school as well as coaching ...
What an explanation ....great sir
...hats off
Hats Off...to the only person who was able to explain capillary action to me......Thank you Sir.....#Respect
Pradeep sir !!! Wah!!!! Respect!!! :)
I hated physics before....but now I think it is intresting and easier and it is only because of you sr..you are the best teacher
🤞🤘👍👍right
Good teacher.Guys plz like him.i seen that 40k views but 630 likes.Give them a like bcz they providing free lessons so we should support.

Pradeep sir u r great 👍👏👏
Prachi Jadhao yes exactly , he is the best physics teacher ever...., 😊😊

This is the only super detailed video talking about the formula thanks a millions
Sir u are almighty in physics...

You had it all.
Pradeep sir is great!!!
Wonderful teaching
Thank you so much sir it was very good
Thank you sir. Respect from Sri Lanka

Superb explanation thank u sir 👍👍👍
AWESOME explanation
very clear concepts
SO grateful for this playlist🤩🤩
Respected Sir .....you are brilliant.....👌👌👌👌👌....your way of expressing the things is fantastic........fan of you ....
wonderful sir
Why it rises in the capillary tube?
Due to capillary action
Great 👍
Sir if surface tension is a scalar then how can u resolve it like vectors

Oh my! This guy explains physics too??? That's so nice
You did help a great 🥰🥰🥰
Excellent sir 👏👏👏
Sir you made too easy .
Thanks sir for making this video
U r a great teacher sir
Can anyone explain me how did he determine the direction of surface tension i think it should be adhesive forces
The forces between molecules of water nd solid is called cohensive force makes concave.. Nd the vice versa adhensive makes covex apllicable to mercury

Since Surface Tension is combination of both adhesive and cohesive force. If adhesive force is > Cohesive force then net resultant is in North West direction as shown in HC Verma page no 289 fig14.23a
How can surface tension act between glass and water, its a cohesive force
🙏
Why Sir S Tension has upward direction why not in North-west direction as shown in HC Verma fig 14.23 page no289
please tell me cause of capillarity. ....please anyone tell me
surface tension
Bro then what have you seen in the video????
It is bcoz of the surface tension
It is because of cohesive and adhesive forces between glass molecules and water molecules.... It depends on which force is dominant
R.I.P sir 🙏🙏🤧
Sir theta 90 hoga Na 0 kaise ho gaya
Sandeep Tiwari we have to measure angle bet tangent drawn to liquid surface and tangent drawn to solid surface. This is angle of contact. Ie Theta
Yogesh Limbarkar thanks I got the point the both tangents are parallel so theta is 0 degree am I right
Theta is Measured from inside of the liquid
Atmospheric pressure is also their on the capillary fluid .
Thank you so much sir... No confusions left 😌
