28:26 The opponents game probebly froze but he didn't restart. That would explain why the opponent could hover while he was timing out.
The red village in red white activates all your valliant triggers and its a land so its hard to get rid of also it does manna that can cast the colorless part of creatures.
Agree red village would have been great. Pretty much no non creature spells in red so it was nearly free.

I've only been playing since LOTR, but more than any other set this set feels like go first -> win. I haven't seen the stats, but it just feels like you don't stand much of a chance if your opponent is aggro on the play. And if you skip a turn you're toast.

This set seems pretty miserable to play in limited. If you don't draft a highly synergistic 2-colour deck from one of the preordained archetypes, don't you just lose ~80% of the time?

Yeah I never draft much and started here and always seem get absolutely wrecked if I'm not super synergy. Seems like most decks want to be but you have nearly no chance if you deck isn't like 3 quarters perfect archetype
That’s been my experience with this set. This is by far the worst limited set I’ve played. The cards are good in constructed for sure, until a a couple more set drops then we’ll see
Funny it's a lot like Strixhaven in that regard but I really enjoyed Strixhaven
@@scottiemthats not really true, while wb might have been the best deck you could do some serious brewing in that format. Great fixing with environmental sciences and common dual lands, powerful top end spells that encouraged multicolour control, hell cody as a legit 5C spells payoff, that format was seriously sweet.

I personally enjoy 2 color tribal strategies that these formats provide. I personally don't like playing 5 color soup. It's nice to have these formats every once in a while.
I think the reason Otters are so bad is because they are so weak on rate compared to other creatures until they get that first prowess trigger. This set is all about stats on the board and as you build your board with otters, you actually fall pretty far behind and by the time you're ready to "go off", you're too far behind and your opponent likely has open mana to blow you out.
Do you have like a spreadsheet of what you rated a limited set? Or would you ever consider making a video about how you would rate each set? Would be really cool imo, could also do like a yearly review off all the sets that came out that year

Since this draft xpac is rated so low for you, what would be like your top 5 favorites or anyone reading this? Asking as someone who only played a lil bit like a few years ago but has been getting into it heavily since like may of this year. Some of the throwback premier drafts have been fun but i have no idea of which ones ppl actually liked. Like dominaria, eldraine, etc.

Anyone constantly crashing on the mobile app? I get to play one game then it constantly crashes as I’m entering the second game. Clicking the store tab gets the same result. I restart my phone and I’m able to play one more game then the same bug starts up. Never had this problem until today. Any suggestions, this is enraging.
Unfortunately not. I also have the bug from time to time and not even a restart helps me. I just lose the game and can't do anything. 🤷
Updated my IOS and I haven’t crashed since. Not sure if that solved the problem or the bug just worked itself out naturally.
Sometimes if I delete and download the app again it gets much better for a few weeks to a month. Still might crash or freeze occasionally but it helps.
I'm on android and it crashes constantly. Want to view your deck? Crash. Check out the store? Crash. Too many things (like 4 triggers) happening in your game? Crash. Don't know what happened. Like 12-18 months ago or something it was mostly fine. Sometimes more stable than desktop.

Saying red is the worst color when blue exists is wild. I think Nummy just forgot blue existed at all.
Agreed, blue is awful! The fro deck is really good but the other decks in blue xolo pairs are all the wort in the format even the blue white fliers deck which I thought would be decent is total garbage even when I get the best version of it (everything has reach now days) and even the frogs deck that is good you want to be heavy green. Rabbits and squirrels are the best decks and frogs maybe 3rd if you get a decent build of it.

That's why I'm gonna watch other people, maybe even quit this channel because of the negativity it's not fun to watch.
He's right though, this set sucks, if you don't get your lane and then good cards in your lane you're fucked. There's very little expression for creativity.. I 100% agree with Nummy here, can't wait for the next set.
Seems a little extra to quit the channel, everyone gets salty here and there but feel free to take your negativity elsewhere. Nummy is probably the most entertaining streamer out there. Paul Cheon and this channel are my favorites. Keep up the good work Nums.
@erickag1878 I started watching during the eldrazi set and the game is a cycle of sets I like this one better and its been so off putting to watch.
@@briancosgrove3261nummy explained pretty clearly why he doesnt like the set. Some people want longer more interesting games with cool interaction. Some want autopilot curve out simulator.
