The hair isn't completely as blonde as mine but quite frankly I'm too scared to bleach it a fourth time... Anyways, I think it'll give my hair nice lowlights and give it a more multidimensional blonde lewk.
Products used:
BW2 bleach powder
40 Volume developer
Wella T18 toner
Clip in hair:
hair type: 3c-4a
length: 20 inches

Virgin hair does not lift to a 613 color only raw hair. These clip ins are virgin hair and has already been processed which is why it did not lift to the shade of blond you were looking for
I think if you get the Afro Coily 4b-4c and bleach them to platinum blonde , the curl pattern will loosen to 3c-4a . You can try curly perming the hair using straws and rubber band to get them super curly again or using hair mousse to be safe . Mind you I’ve been researching this for 3 hours . My actual hair is platinum blonde 😭 wish there was another stimulus check, I’d blow a bag 🗣‼️

I learned that the hard way. I got the 3c-4a because it matches my hair type the most but now that im bleaching it the curl pattern has dramatically loosened. Its frustrating because my hair is blonde and i have no choice but to bleach it regardless of the outcome. I have the skill to make it work anyway but i would have MUCH preferred for it to still match my hair type!

Would this work on straight clip ins too?
I don’t see why not. If you use silky straight hair, you’d get the same outcome and not even have to worry about messing up the texture

The color end so beautiful, but the curls disappeared with the proccess.
40v is one of the fastest processing developers I think it didnt lift as much because the bleach was too runny. Wella toners call for 20v developer but I get you wanted to use what you had in this house. I wanna do this to my extensions so bad I keep watching videos of the process to procrastinate instead of actually doing it

Can you sleep in the clips
Technically yes, but I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t absolutely necessary. The extra tension on the root of your hair isn’t good + you would need to put it into a protective style to go to sleep. Hope this helps!

No problem! You can use them however, just be careful about potential strain on your hair 💕

@@nikki.mcqueen also, I noticed the clip in are longer than the weave hair (I ordered 16, 18 inch). they are so expensive, scared to ruin them but I love color, lord I love color
