They break branches with the slightest vibration and tops even fall out. It’s best to usually fall with the lean and even if they have lean, there isn’t much weight up top to help it go over.

I cut lots of ash here in WV in similar condition, limbs and tops will break if you think too hard around them but I’m pretty sure those pine are a bit more delicate.
