The Boom provides easy power and is a bit easier access to spin as well. It also feels slightly firmer, and that thicker beam up in the top of the hoop helps with that easy power and energy return. The Gravity MP offers more control and feel for the ball, and also a bit more arm friendly overall; not quite as much easy power as the Boom MP, however better connection to the ball for precision and those touch and feel shots. This could definitely be a good option for all court and doubles play. It offers easier power and maneuverability than the Six One 100, however a bit more control and precision coming from that racquet. So I guess it just comes down to whether or not you can adjust to the feel of the Boom MP, and also maybe get used to the difference in weight, as the Boom MP is a bit lighter; although as the testers mentioned in this video it could be easy to doctor it up a bit with some weight tape. Troy, TW
Is the new version way more stable than the v1 ? And, even if Jason talks about it in the video, how would you compare it to the speed ? Huge differences ?
@@NeverMe-Official You may talk about the speed no ? For the boom, I check the racquet comparison tool of tennis warehouse and their website and swingweight is pretty the same : 2022 : 318 2024 : 317 Problem is the QC that may change a lot from a racquet to another.
Both offer easy power and spin, the VCORE 100 being a bit more spin friendly though. I would say feel wise most of us really like the VCORE 100, especially since Yonex increased the comfort and made for a more plush feel with the 2023, compared to previous versions. The Boom MP is also pretty comfortable, but also a bit more muted in the feel. So both good racquets, but I think our test prefers the feel of the VCORE 100. Troy, TW
Both racquets provide easy power and spin. They are also very similar in maneuverability. The Boom MP is a little bit more flexible in terms of the stiffness rating, however the EZONE 100 is pretty comfortable for its stiffness. Overall we prefer the feel of the EZONE 100 a bit more, although the feel for a racquet can be a very subjective thing. Troy, TW
A bit more solid feel at impact and a stiffer response with the Boom, whereas, the ball really sits in the string bed for the Clash. Both swing fairly fast and are easy to access spin and power. More of a flexible feel with the Clash, more direct connection to the ball with the Boom MP! Michelle, TW
Does the older boom have more power? Also which one has more spin and better flatter serves?
Also kick serves?
Thanks for this review.

@@tenniswarehouseThanks a lot Troy.
How does this compare to the radical mp for a intermediate player ?
Is it satisfying for all court players and double players? I use 6.1 100 v13 and really like the feel, but maybe I can use an "easier" racket

Yes. I play doubles with the v1 😊

Previous gen balance was not right, swing weight only 298g. This 2024 swing weight is 317, so almost 20g higher. It must be more stable for sure

Can you compare it to the 2022 version
Great review, thanks. How would you compare it with vcore 100 2023?
