    THANK YOU for recording the digital dashboard. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find videos of how the new dashboard looks like. And as someone who has never had a hybrid, it was super informative for me to see how the charge/eco/power works. Thanks for this video sir

    I just did a trip from NY to SC on I-95 at a speed of 75-80MPH. The car dash said 54mpg and the calculator came up with 57MPG. I get 60-70 mpg local at under 50MPH. My 2025 is a LE model.

    Great review! I drive both city and highway, My Last 2025 Camry Hybrid LE model averaged 59 MPG both Dash and calculator with only a tenth mile difference, Dash (59.1) vs. Calculator (59.2) after refilling gas tank. One thing to note, When refilling gas tank make sure Car is off otherwise the dash millage (fuel/miles left in tank indicator) may not reset and continue to retain same level from pervious tank.

      Yes that's called hypermiling, I have a 2020 Honda Civic hatchback. It's rated for 31 mpg in the city 40 mpg on the highway and 35 mpg combined. If I drive like a grandma and baby it for almost 500 miles I can get over 46 mpg. So almost any car can get more than it's EPA rating. But really what's more important is which car gets better under the same conditions. Because I've seen tests with the new Camry hybrid and Accord hybrid The Camry is rated better gas mileage, but the Accord is beating it or at the very less least matching it in "real world gas mileage"

    2025 XSE AWD (no sunroof, 19" rims). 232miles, 65mph, 232 miles, 44.5mpg.
    Seems a mild penalty in mpg for the larger rims and AWD. I do wonder what the MPG would be if I swapped to 18" rims.
    Update: Fill up after 477 miles = 10.4 gallons. Display read 44.5mpg still, but actual calculated was 45.9mpg

    I have a Toyota camry 2025 hybrid SE. In city the car does not go above 42/43 mpg. On hgwy it gets 47- 49 which is quite good. A week ago I took it for the 5k checkup. Since then the city milage had dropped to 35/36 mpg. I think they messed something up. Does any have any insight or thoughts? I am going to take it back to the dealer anyway, but additional information can only help.

    I traded my 2023 Honda Accord Sport hybrid for a new 2025 Camry XLE Hybrid. I've done several 3800 miles round trips to Arizona with the Honda. It averages 45 mpg @ 72 mph. I just returned from a 4000 trip with the new Camry XLE hybrid. It averaged 44.5 mpg at the same speeds. Having said this, the Camry is a quieter, smoother ride, and handles just as well as the Honda around curves. The Camry has noticeably more power and quieter when climbing high mountain passes. The safety systems were much better in the Camry in different ways but that's for another discussion. The Camry only had 1300 miles at the start of the trip so the engine was not quite broken in like my Honda was.

    • @Boxster586
      @Boxster586 Місяць тому +1

      @@nicholaspetre1 After 13,000 miles now with the Camry XLE, I will give Honda a small advantage in the handling department. Reliability of the Camry is the main reason I bought it. The D4S fuel injection of the Camry is much better than the Honda's direct injection and will likely be much better in controlling carbon build ups on the intake valves.

      Depends on your driving style and habits. With the hot Arizona summers and lots of idling our 22 Camry le hybrid has been averaging 35-38 in town. Lots of stop and go mixed with short trips. Well below the epa rating, before when I was commuting on the highway I would regularly see 47 to 50mpg average.

    That shows you can achieve 519 miles in its 13-gallon tank in the 2025 Camry which is not that spectacular. This is a front wheel drive Camry, not AWD. I own a 2023 Kia Sportage hybrid Sx Prestige and I get 520 miles with a full 13.7 gallon tank. It comes with AWD standard and also an SUV. It is cheaper than the Camry because I paid $38000 with taxes and cash. To get all the bells and whistles for the Camry you will pay over $40000 taxes not included. I prefer traditional automatic over CVT any day.

    • @BrianNC81
      @BrianNC81 6 місяців тому

      I can get just over 700 miles highway range in our diesel suburban but it has a 28 gallon fuel tank (avg 27mpg on highway @75mph). The camry has an eCVT which does not use a drive belt like a traditional CVT, is uses a planetary gearset to vary the drive ratio. eCVT are highly reliable compared to the CVT you would find in a Nissan or Subaru.
