You might want to consider adding a third pontoon for extra buoyancy. Also, maybe add fold-down side decks to allow you to safely walk around the boat in the water.
you need a smaller popup, that can fit sideways on the back of the pontoon with the beds hanging out over the water. Which would allow you to have the whole front for helm, fish deck, and cook space. If you find the right one, might even have an awning that would hang over the helm.
Lol lojo I think we all are in shock that it didn't sink I was expecting it to see it go under flip the pontoon, dump the camper and the pontoon to come rocketing back to the surface haha. When it started my first word where oh this is going to end badly.

Love this concept and I hope you can fix the broken roof of the pop up to make this an actual functioning creation. Also, extended side decking so you can walk around and enter the pop-up correctly. Throw in a small propane grill and nice Eco-Flow or other battery bank and you are set for some floating fishing adventures.
AYO, your brother in law has to be one of the best dudes around. He is so chill and careful with all of your projects. After watching the finished product, I almost feel like you would have been off using the pop up camper as a model and building something that fit better from scratch and featured the slide out beds.
Definitely bigger than what I had in mind, I'm surprised that there wasn't a massive weight distribution problem but if it floats it floats. I hope that you're saving that stove for the Itty Bitty.
@@RubyDoobieScoo - The mouse and it’s family takes care of that part!! They shift inside the pontoons as needed. Look under the slide outs. There should be some "kickstands". They support the weight of the bed. One side goes to the bumper that you remove but I'm sure you can figure a work around out.
As someone that had a pop-up a year ago, was thinking the same thing. Was slightly worried when the pop-up was sitting on the stabilizers, they aren't made to support the weight of the camper.
Ya had me with the thumbnail!! 😂😂. I was hoping it was going to look a “little” better inside, but it’s basically all there. A little epoxy and fibreglass (you are the master of fibreglass now, are you not?) and a bit of aluminum bracing and that roof is as good as new!! Some aluminum frame for the door and a plywood panel covering the one hole in the side and it’s bug proof and everything!!! If it were me, I might be shopping for a 3rd pontoon,,,,,, just to help. You are not going to be able to get going with the bigger motor as the fins to elevate the boat will be under the slightest wave!! 😂😂😂😂 oops,,,. Haha. Still think this is your biggest success in the water except for the inflatable houseboat!! That thing is amazing!! Expensive as hell, but amazing!
Floating base camp for fishing in kayaks... Fish all day and go back and sleep in the pontoon popup ... Cook on a grill on shore or have an induction stove you can use with rechargable battery pack.... you need to combine this with a deck made out of tote floats for extra space to fish off of next to it
Great idea with the pop-up camper. Definitely do a sleepover video. Thank you for all of your videos. I get a lot of laughs from them. My wife thinks I am crazy because I am laughing, and she has no idea what I am laughing about. Please keep them coming. God bless.

Make an air fitting to screw into your drains. Next hook a compressor to each pontoon then spray the outside with soapy water while filling them with air. Every place that blows a bubble is where your leaks are.
Since there's no longer any sink or stove, I believe deeply there needs to be a turkey fryer installed on this rig, you could keep the turkey in the orca cooler.
Just want to say hi from Ontario Canada love the video awesome job on the boat build hope you catch a lot of fish when you go out in your new boat camper have a good one

Ayo I've been kinda binge watching you man. As soon as I move to South Texas in October I'm getting a pontoon boat. Been debating on how to set her up. Also, watching you develop your personality in front of the camera has been cool. As you grow stay humble and praise Jesus brother.
one thing about it brother how you going to drive it around on the lake have to get stand everything out you ain't going to be able to do nothing how you going to walk around and if he was to get up in your sleep you going to step out your door and you're going to wake up real quick when you drop into the water good luck with it brother I enjoyed it have a blessed day brother be safe 🙏🙏💯
Put grab rails on the roof for getting around the sides A lot of cabin cruisers etc have narrow walk-around decks and have them for holding on. Ideally she'd be trimmed further aft, but it is what it is. Back in the day we used to see a lot of people would make a barge and then put an old caravan on it, just like you've done here.

On those slide outs, there's small bars that go from the slide to the frame to keep the sliders from bowing, and it will also remove a bit of bounce when turning over. If I had the means to make something like this, would be hard pressed to ever leave the lake

I love the sponsorship videos and LOVE the videos period keep it up my guy 1 million is in your future 🤞👌👍 P.S. having your wife in the sponsorship awesome idea
I bet instead of removing things on the inside take a look underneath. The axle, springs, and tires weight a bit. Plus is there a full metal frame? Maybe instead of three hours take some time and build a wood frame in place of the steel one, then shed some weight like those pull out awnings. I got a slide in camper into the back of my compact truck. The camper is build for a full size truck, but I will say I did work on my rig for such a thing. Plus my truck does weigh more than the camper to start with and I also can haul 3500lbs so some work was involved. But hey sink or swim, it will be entertaining to say the least as always.
You have to do an overnight catch and cook! With the whole gang! If you can get the roof fixed you should put some kind of handles down the side towards the door, so Lojo doesn’t fall in. Or yourself! You definitely are pulling a Mav move! I think you mentioned him a few videos back when you first had an idea to build something on the girthy girl! Can’t wait to see the adventure! 😎
Pretty cool. I would have left the sink and stove. I would have taken the water pump and ran it down under the deck with a filter cap and you could have just sucked up water for sink use. Then do the same with the drain. Or used the fresh water tank near the rear to level her out. Also would have moved the helm to the front or just farther back to center up the camper. Awesome idea I think the execution could have used a little more finesse so the camper was still decent lol. But I don’t have a pop up pontoon so what do I know 😂😂. Loving the boat vids
Ayo, you are just delightful. Just seeing you makes me smile 🤣. And your wife is too sweet (and patient 🤣🤣🤣). Much love to you both, to Davey Gravy, Girthy Girl and of course, the One And Only Itty Bitty 🥰🥰🥰💙 Sending good vibe, #🇬🇧PROUD_NANA💙
Hey Ayo. Try hooking up an air-pump to drain hole of the pontoon and spray soapy water on the outside and see where it's bubbling to find all the leaks.
You could replace the bottom of the pull-out with ridged foam covered with fiberglass . A piece of dock foam or 1/3 length pontoon under the middle of the bow would be advisable. You could make a pontoon out of blue plastic barrel. Or one 55 gallon drum with a piece angled up for a bow . Even half a drum (old BBQ grill ?) .
I highly recommend adding a 3ed pontune to atleast the front of it. Get a 4ft pontune or full length one it will really help because you have to remember any gear you bring will add weight to it.
The Jed Shed..... I had one of these in my past!!! When I was in high school I helped a neighbor do this with an aluminum shed that was 8 foot wide and had way more room on the pontoon boat than this. Your boat is way too small. We had at least a 3 foot back porch that had a generator, one outboard motor and was able to eventually hang a window AC unit out the back after a few trips cooking ourselves in an aluminum can in the middle of the water with zero shade. The second season somewhere we found two abandoned walk in freezers and used the walls to insulate inside the shed. Canvas tarps made the front porch , bait coolers fitted with backs made seats and the whole thing was painted blue with a sign on the sides of the shed that said "Jed Clampett's Bait and Tackle Supplies". That with a donated pleather couch, Farrah Fawcett, Cheryl Tiegs and a few Budweiser supermodel posters made that thing perfect. We fished off that thing way past college. "I think your gonna need a bigger boat" -- Sheriff Brody
just a thought after watching these videos im wondering if you maybe have considered crafting a fold out railing system that lowers out when in camp mode into side decking but folds up in boating mode to act as a rail system
yeahhh i'm omw save a spot
UA-cam commented you viral man
Shoulda set the camper on there turned 90 degrees with the door towards the console.. coulda slid it farther back easy

If you make an adapter to hook up from the drain plug to an air compressor you can pressurize the pontoon and spray soapy water and find your leaks
You can also drain the water from the pontoons while afloat with an air compressor

It's the nerves inside your arm firing off as if you got stung by a bee. It happens to me to after a long day of weed wacking.
It’s always a good day when ayo posts

but folds up in boating mode to act as a rail system
