Great video! Its great to see such remote societies in their existence. One big thing that did stick out a lot though. At the very beginning: "The Pitcairn Islands, the only British Overseas Territory,..." Yeah, no. Last time i checked there are upwards of 12 BOTs, not just one. 😅
Greetings from Hakkari, Türkiye. Thank you for showing me a wonderful journey. It is an amazing feeling to think that people lived here 500-600 years ago. I hope one day I can earn money and travel the world.
Yes the Falklands is equally as desolate. I can see the attraction though if you like solitude. Imagine what the sailors from the bounty thought when after 6months they saw those topless Tahitian girls in grass skirts.
The islanders came from British sailors and women from Tahiti. You could say that the people of Pitcairn have their own language. Of course they speak English, but they have a lot of Polynesian words mixed into their vernacular. Some of the visitors may have been speaking other languages.
@@George-hs2zmNot anymore sir. Many foreigners got killed and scammed in Philippines. Philippines was sold to China by traitorous pro-China Filipino politicians.
I want to move to Pitcairn Island, though I’m 17 right now. I want to move there after college. Can you do a video on immigrating to Pitcairn Island. Plus, do you know if they are still accepting immigrants?
There is one Henderson island approx 250 miles from Pitcairn but part of Pitcrain. It's unhabited but a larger island. A group of nomads can certainly move there.
They accepting although you need to have enough savings to import building materials of new Zealand or Australia and build your own house or pay someone to do so, also some money for start and think what would you be doing there as is very simple life. Yes there is enough food and water but no actual jobs. Visit their website for more.
They have an application you fill out and pay a $500 fee. No one has yet to be accepted, even though hundreds have applied. The pedophile elders like to keep the outside world out, except for the money.
Are u crazy ? Why would u go to that rugged island to live ? It's a prison to live there . Nothing is there , not even beaches . Hard to get anything, one doctor maybe. U reconsider your choice, before u move to prison island.
My family and I visited Pitcairn for 10 days in June of 2023 and had a wonderful time. Brenda Christian was our host and the view of the ocean from Brenda and Mike's home is great. We plan to be back for another trip. Everyone treated us very well and we keep in contact with several of them.
Well, not exactly. The men were taking very young girlfriends. That's the Polynesian custom, but not legal per the UK. The entire male population served prison time for what happened. That was a long time ago, and I think the practice has stopped. If you do go, remember not to talk about that
Yes, that was true some time ago, and some were jailed. Chances of being raped on the island today is NILL ... you still could be kissed !😊 G'day from Australia 🇦🇺
Amazing Video!
Was awesome to have you all here! Hope you are doing well!!

Pitcairn isn't the only British Overseas Territory.
Maybe they meant the Pacific?
Yes thorny made it a tourist destination
Pitcairn island isnt the only overseas british territory?

Hahahahahahahahahah Even when you arrive at Pitcairn, you get a formular 😂😊
Interesting to see the EU flag on the welcome sign.
In theory, the only British overseas territories that were part of the EU were only Gibraltar, Akrotiri and Dhekelia
What if you need medical attention or need to have a leg amputated due to shark attack?!!

I think of planet of the apes when I see this , like was it filmed there.
you understand that it's a small island when after just two videos you already know all the inhabitants.
They only got 43 people
The music ruined this sadly
Yeah, the music was kind dramatic to say the least.
Being a SE Asian, probably I would survive.
Welcome Tourist. Give Us Your money and go home. 😊
Like prison but oceanic views
How many of the residents know that the earth is flat?
Is what?
@15rachataphosri99 Geocentric. Non rotating. Covered by a solid dome/vault. Not a spinning globe.

I wanted to visit this place, but I hear this island has a lot of rapist here, and that it’s creepy there as well, is it true? 👀🫣
