- In today’s video, I am sharing our living room makeover. This has taken several years to make it into a space that I absolutely love.  This includes lots of DIY projects that we have done ourselves including adding LVP flooring, making over our entertainment center area, and adding window trim to both windows in the living room. Great job! Your updates are very thoughtful. Agree with area rug as suggested by others. For the large wall you could turn it into a picture wall gallery instead of one big piece of art. This way you could combine family photos, nature pictures etc to show some individual personality. Finally in the corner of the sectional and accent chair, you could place a side table with a nice lamp for ambiance and additional lighting. ❤
Thanks for the tips! I'm always open to ideas and love how you see the space. I have been thinking lately also that I need to personalize it more with family photos so I really like that suggestion!

Its looks beautiful! I agree a rug would be perfect touch. And unpopular opinion i actually like the arched book shelf even with the additional chairs. If you add it back in the make cute lamps that fit on shelves now. But if you go with out it either sconces above the couch or a floor lamp is what i suggest for additional lighting. Otherwise it looks great over all 🤍🤍🤍

Looks nice. Although, I would replace the 3 candles in the entryway with a lamp. It will balance out the height of the rattan vase. Keep up the good work. Enjoy!

I know it is your home, but in my opinion the space could definitely use a very large area rub to ground everything. But you sound like me, using your flooring for two years and then ripping it up. That is something I would so do. Looks lovely.

I do like your ideas, just remember scale is important. Large tables look best when larger items are adorned on them. Visa, smaller tables like smaller items.

Hi everything looks amazing, maybe you could put some wall battery operated candle holders on either side of the paintings to fill in the walls more and add additional lighting.

All that’s missing is a rug to anchor the sitting area.
I forgot to mention that I plan on using the same area rug I’ve had here for a while just waiting on getting it professionally clean. 😊

It all looks so beautiful girl! I agree about the rug, but things take time. I love all your pillows/ pillow covers on your couch. Do they happen to be covers from Amazon that you’re able to link? Or are they homegoods? That new floor is amazing as well!

Hi I got it from the Goodwill and painted it.
a suggestion would be to lower your wall decor over all. In standard decor practice artwork should be at eye level when viewed.
