- Hi guys, in this video I use my new RCBS Trim Pro-2 to trim 350 Legend Starline brass. This trimmer is really amazing to use and I'm so happy I bought it. Thanks again and Enjoy !!!
Mornin man!!
I trimmed to 1.7 and left it. Haven't had issue.
Thanks for the info CW I truly appreciate it😉👊👍🇺🇸
I have that trimmer also works great. If you remove the handle and reinstall the screw then get a allen wrench with the ball end then you can use your drill to trim
Thanks for the tip Brother 😉👍👊🇺🇸
Great job! I find the 35 pilot works on fired brass before resizing. Not much needed but I'm mostly trying to get a flat edge.
Will that's good information to know about fired brass😉 ... from what I've been seeing on UA-cam about how these cases grow a bit with new brass I figured I'd check case OAL after the first couple of firing and not have to worry after that ... thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 😁 👊 👍 🇺🇸
I would imagine this is more precise than the type used in a drill
Not necessarily ... I use the little Crow gun works world's finest trimmer for all my bottle neck cartridges and have absolute exact overall length dimensions when I trim with them. The key to using those type of trimmers is to anneal your brass and make sure your shoulder bump is consistent when resizing cases. 350 Legend as you know is a Straight walled cartridge the only way I could trim it was to use this type of trimmer 😁😉👍👊🇺🇸
Good stuff, is that a universal case holder.
Yes Sir😁😉 ... Spring-loaded shell holder accommodates case head diameters from .250-inch to .625-inch rims
Case fit is from the 5.7mmx28 to .338 Lapua Magnum
Kit includes pilots: .22, .24, .25, .27, .28, .30, .35, .44 and .45
Thanks for watching Brother 😉 👊 🇺🇸
My chip tray cost me 99 cents for 3 trays - aliminum throw away tins... see my latest video on the RCBS trim pro 2 powered version - I just added the tri way cutter - all I can say is WOW
Aluminum throw away trays (FANTASTIC) Thanks for the tip Andy. And I will check out the full video this evening 😁😉👍👊🇺🇸
I find that my .338 lapua case has very hard time to fit into that universal shell holder, any easy solution to that?
Thanks for stopping by and posting your comment, Brother. I really don't have an answer for you. That case should fit easily for sure. My suggestion would be to call RCBS directly. Their customer service is 2nd to none, and they can better answer the issue you are having. They will stand behind their product for sure 👍🇺🇸
I love that mount you have for it for the Lee bench mount.... I need one like that for my trimmers and stuff.... What's the dimensions of it? easy to make? what wood you used? Thanks for the info..
Thanks for watching Brother. It was easy to make. I will do a how to video on this weekend. Stay tuned 😉 👍👊🇺🇸
@@JerrBearTactical Are you still going to do a video on your lee bench mount? I been waiting to see how to make one...
Hi Michael, I've been very sick and still getting over my illness ... Go to the about page on my channel and send me a email and I'll send you the measurements and drawings. I didn't forget just not well enough to make videos 😔
@@JerrBearTactical sorry to hear about your illness. Hope you get better and a fast recovery. I will contact you soon as I can. Thank you!
Is Hornady spelt ‘Hornaday’? It may work ‘great’ but is it great to set up?
So you have nothing better to leave in a comment than the fact that I said Hornaday instead of Hornady ... good grief, Charlie Brown 🤣🤣🤣
