Ive always been the thermal scopes #1 glazer it was really good on the huntress dmr last season
i like it with the striker tbh but i need to try with striker burst

I just think they need to get rid of weapon mods after this season. It had it's time, but after they removed vaults with mod benches, it's basically a gamble whether or not you can mod. Either plop more mod benches around the map, or remove weapons mods all together
I wish they unvaulted the PX2 scope and vaulted the Sniper Scope cause there's no snipers or DMR's. So there's nothing wrong with bringing it back.

The thermal scope was my favorite attachment when it came out, and in my experience it’s best suited for weapons that are strong from medium-long range and **don’t** have the capacity to one-shot. Things like the hand cannon, huntress DMR and enforcer AR (which in of itself is an extremely underrated weapon).
it was busted with the Reaper Sniper back in Season 2, it's literally a buffed P2X
Pretty sure the thermal scope adds a ton of recoil for the rest of the ARs during this chapter (except for the burst ofc)
it's terrible on the stiker ar and combat ar because they have fast firerates but in chapter 5 season 1 it was good on the nemesis ar and enforcer because they were slow firing weapons

there is a glitch with the monark pistol that do a full damage with no scope
only problem with thermal is you honestly get more recoil on guns (or at least i feel like it does) but with the aug it doesnt matter because its burst. i used to run thermal on the thunderburst but its been vaulted this season

Last season I found weapons with thermal scopes in chests all time. Combar ar, dmr, enforcer ar, and boom bolt all had the possibility of having a thermal scope right out the chest. I have not seen anything with one this season however.

Only way I can get a victory royale is with the Striker burst AR and distance. 99% of the time the end game is with jet packs, War machine arsenal, turret and cap shield, but all are useless at long range. The thermal scope helps me track the movements and color when they started boosting around with different backgrounds that can cause confusion without the thermal scope in a chaotic battle, especially when everyone is zipping around in the air.

I always put the thermal scope on a burst AR. These attachments are the best for long range:
Thermal Scope (obviously)
Speed Mag
Vertical Foregrip
Muzzle Brake
OMG you were not joking - I legit played a game after watching this, modded a purple burst, and won a game with 16 eliminations!!! I normally get 7-8 and I have bad aim.
It seemed like I could hit people from ridiculous distances, and my accuracy was unbelievable while using the Jetpack.
As an amateur, the following load out was clutch:
Capt Shield
Purple Burst w/ Infra Scope
War Machines Arsenal
Shoulder Turret
Jet Pack
Don't carry shield just grab it when you need it.
Use the shield mostly for short range like a shot gun, the burst for mid to long, and the arsenal to just go nuclear on duos from above.
And lots of jetpack slides wooooot
I won a game literally the same day this was uploaded with a thermal-scoped Combat and Burst and I hadn't even seen this video yet 💀
I absolutely have hated the burst this season due to not being able to hit shots, can't wait to try this

old thermal scopes let you see thru smoke bombs but the new one cant so i dont even know what the point is, in chapter 1 through 4 i was the only person ive seen use the thermal smoke combo

Finally someone agrees that the thermal is good I've been using this for longest time due to accuracy and range also I think you can obviously get less recoil using the muzzle and not suppressor
Keep in mind this can be toggled on and off, so if you toggle it off it becomes a reskinned P2X optic from Season 1
You need to try flowberry fizz shock wave then mystical bomb
I get a lot of striker/combat ARs with the thermal scope, all rarities for the striker (except for common), epic and legendary for the combat

There’s a bug with the shield that if you throw it, swap to your monarch, then ads, it does more damage.

I have found an ar with the thermal scope at the beginning of a game. Someone tried to sneak up on me with the cloaking medallion, but I saw the blue, and then I used the thermal scope so he was very easy to see.
You actually can get a thermal scoped ar without bunker or the loot island it’s rare though

According to the game files, all scopes are supposed to INCREASE recoil on any weapon, but almost completely eliminate bullet spread (so the bullets always go straight forward)
How much recoil gets added is different depending on which weapon the scope is attached to (the Burst AR gets a 40% increase, but the Striker AR gets a 60% increase)

@@autonomousinstinct9595 Muzzle Break and Vertical Foregrip both reduce base recoil by various amounts, and the Vertical Foregrip also slightly reduces the recoil added per bullet
Been doing this all season so far last season I did burst smg with thermal seems harder to get a lot of ar bullets tho

i thought i was insane 😭 try swapping out the suppressor for a muzzle brake though it helps a lot with that recoil
is it just me but can the reveal medal sometimes work against you cuz when it does the scan everyone knows exactly where it was from so if you don't have all three medals it will completely blow any sign of stealth.

First time thermal scope has been good, simply because the Striker Burst has that little recoil.

The recoil is more than the 4x for some reason so yeah you’re right. The burst AR just kinda negates that tho cause it’s a burst.
