I’m 63 and met my Thai wife 2-1/2 yrs ago and she is the best woman I have ever met and you are correct the happiness she bought to my life is immeasurable, I have never met someone that is always happy and looks at the bright side of everything. We retire and move to her village in 5 months and we can’t wait!! Thank you for your videos not many that put up common sense vlogs.

Thank you for your wonderful videos about your family and your wife as videos really takes me on tris that normally I could not afford. You may recall that my best friend from high school Retired in Bangkok. Sadly, he unexpectedly passed away last yr. unfortunately I did not get an another contact email to know how he died. I contacted the US Embassy about four times and finally last year in July as US citizens apparent are posted with the US Embassy and I got confirmation.
So your adventures in Thailand are like a brother to me or best friend. Please keep doing them and I love your positive attitude and philosophy of life. Be well and take care.

I just got finished remodeling our villa in Koh Chang, and those cabinets made me think of a discussion I got into with my wife. KITZCHO likes to leave their emblems on their cabinets, I was going to remove them because I don't like to advertise but my wife wants to keep them. Long story short happy wife happy life.

I think, the handle on the top part was on the right side. It is for a steamer, so using the lid bending down, the condense water flows back into the pot. However, using it for other purposes, your way to look at it can make a lot of sense too.

Pure truth ! Love that remark from Paige about it being assembled backwards because it was made in China -PRC.
Placing that on a microwave safe plate then placing a very damp towel between the plate & steamer bottom. Insert in Microwave for 2 minutes on Highq. The steam & heat rising will keep the corn or flour tortillas soft & warm.

Chuck, when you watch your own videos you see that you have 1 to 4 cooks/helpers simultaneously in the kitchen working hard to produce a fantastic meal. The table in the middle not only serves as work space for them, but also as a short distance hand over place from one to the next cook. If you take it away your mother in law, the chef de cuisine, has to walk much more to prepare the meals. A good kitchen is not only designed by storage space, but also by minimising the amount the person who use it has to walk around to get the job done. Instead of a 3D plan, use a 2D layout plan and simulate on it what the cook has to walk around for meal preparations to get to a good layout and also allows multiple people to work in the same area. Where to store utensils, where to store always to be used ingredients? How to keep raw/dirty produce incoming away from washed and clean produce (Not as strict as in a restaurant, but worth to think about it). Good luck in the simulation games and the design.

Lost everything, didn't have anyone for emotional support. Fortunately, it all turned around a few years later. Rough times that reminded me life is short, that's why I'm in Thailand.

Making a kitchen plan drawing is a great idea. One thought--your cabinets seem to be custom around this particular refrigerator. It may be time to upgrade the fridge before your redesign? Just a thought--if your wanted to go with a larger fridge in the future it wouldn't fit? Mafia seems excited for the kitchen upgrades, it will be good for her.
