@@highimphilip I went on Friday. There was a Bataan Death March before I even saw a single golf swing. Many places seemed like I was miles away from the players. Maybe I’m spoiled because the others I go to you can get close enough to hear the caddie/player discussions. That place just didn’t allow for that.
Im local and a pretty well traveled golfer, chambers is still in my top 5 and I get so excited playing it with first timers. It’s just a fun course, have a blast!
TFE bringing the quality content again. Thank you. Played over 100 rounds at CB. Love the course. We need to get Blasi back to restore some holes back to the incredible original design. I'm talking 5, 7 and 18. Props to RTJ2, Blasi and Charlton for an incredible design. It's very much underrated.
It’s wild how overlooked it is. We don’t get weather in the 90s here hardly ever, especially April. It was unexpected and you can’t control nature. I pray they get another chance
I played here the week of the Pac Am. What a great walk and facility. Locals using the public park everywhere and a junior clinic on the range. One of the best public facilities (key word facilities) in the US
It is so amazing that, nine years later, we're still talking about how badly the USGA f***** Chambers Bay by mandating grass and conditions contrary to how the course was designed and constructed. So disappointing.
They botched it originally by running fescue greens. That turf for greens does not exist in the PNW and the USGA pushed it beyond the limits. The course with bent is ready for tournaments now. I agree with you
Chambers Bay is severely underrated, people simply cannot get the 2015 US Open outta their minds. (one of the most interesting US Opens in history) Also one of the best walks in golf.
That's an intro for this series. We've done four episodes this year: Brambles in California, Oakmont, George Wright in Boston, and Chambers Bay. ua-cam.com/video/Olz4o6aBpSk/v-deo.html
Give Chambers Another Major!!! That 2015 US Open was all time great, I would love to see it host again!
Amen
I thought it was a beautiful course but a terrible venue for the spectators.
It's ready made for a PGA
@@WeshopwizardI agree. I went opening round in 2015 and was disappointed how far away the players were.

Chambers is local to me so this was a rad video to see pop up
Loved this series. Really well done. Would like to see a video on a course in the southeast and how the turf conditions differ there.
My buddy and I have a tee time on the 10th of Jan, 2025 and could not be more excited! 🙌🏽
Take a caddy, I’m available that day!

@@samgolfyob4266 Hey I appreciate you saying that! I will let you know if we do decide to go with a caddie. You will be the one. Thank you!
@@mayorganism Top 5! That is a big deal because I can imagine you have played some Gems. What are some of the others that make it in your top 5?
@bandon, Bandon trails, old head, old course, maybe Kapalua? Idk it ebbs and flows but I’m still putting chambers in there. It’s just fun as hell

Veey much want to get out there. Keeps moving up on my trips list.
Great course. Great walk. Highly recommend it.
It’s fantastic, up there with Bandon imo
Awesome video!
Killer piece!
This is the first time I've heard someone point out the drought conditions as part of the Open green problems, kudos

Club TFE mebership chances increasing
I want to come for revenge at this place so bad. Had the chance to play here in 2021 and just did not have a swing all day
Great course to play. Not a great US Open venue.
Why are there shots of courses not at Chambers? 1:11 - 1:20

Never mind spectators can't walk the course.
hello usga? us open now plz
Brown is good, broadcast golf needs to grow up
Great fucking aesthetic
Sadly, Bandon Dunes has the bluegrass. it’s completely changed the way you play that golf course not for the better.
I have played it twice... OK course, but over rated.
