@ippothedestroyer1 It's not that it's "too physical." Most could probably handle it if they got used to it like anyone else.
It's that women tend to just not like physical labour and it's also more socially acceptable for them to stay at "pink collar" jobs like food service, customer service, etc..
Men are often pressured eventually to get a "real" job, even if it pays about the same as being a grill cook or a pizza delivery driver.

@@yodambomb4974 You'll be in my prayers. If Sysco in Oregon is as short staffed as Denver you should easily get in with experience. The Denver Sysco is offering $300 referral bonuses to employees if they recommend someone who ends up passing the 3 month probation period. They are really desparate for order selectors in Denver.

@@Chuck10112 I’m only gonna take it if something goes wrong with this Darigold onboarding .., I’m sure that I would hit numbers and all that but for 10 years tho .., I’m already 32 almost .., DG pulls with the reachlifts (80 percent full pallet moves ) .., lower start but same cap out and Union 27 sometbing an hour .., trust me I want to pull some boards but I need the piece of mind to that I’m worried about numbers or accuracy every week .., accuracy is everywhere but that’s even more hard than the hitting numbers I bet .., if I’m not wrong ..

I am yet to see a video which has a selector who knows how to stack a solid pallet. Pallet must be stacked so product doesn't get smashed. These guys suck

Damn, dude is trash. Get closer to the racks if you want to improve your time and lower the physical strain on your body.
All the cases are on the sides of the aisle, drive to the cases so you dont have to walk with a case and pull up to the side you picking from.
But you don't have to listen to me about it, I only set performance records at just about every job I selected at.
