Horizon Hobby recently re-released an updated version of this plane. It has better retracts, and yellow Navy paint scheme. Unfortunately, they still use the crappy plastic clevises. I am likely going to get one, and will upgrade to steel clevises all around before the maiden. Your landings are just a little hot. Remember, when you are lined up on final, you control your speed with the elevator, and your rate of descent with the throttle. Slow it down a bit more on the last third part of the final, and flare just a bit more right when touching down. I like to give a very slight burst of throttle just as the wheels touch to really land them nice...
Just bought one of these used. Needed some work on one of the gear mounts but otherwise seems ok some hanger rash. The control hardware seems kinda flimsy for such a large plane. Yes it is big? I have to remove the canope to get the fuse into my trunk.
Had one, loved it, flew so good!, got too cocky and crashed it into a pole LOL, but so glad Eflite is returning it with updates and improvements, definently will be getting that one and adding the sound system with four transducer speakers. it will float with flaps down on landings and bounce like a basketball if you don't touch down just right lol

The new ones are well over $600 The only improvements seem to be the addition of lights and better electronics. Not even a 3 bladed prop!
