Beavers and Brews: San Pedro

Lisa Shipek, WMG’s Executive Director, is joined by Mike Foster and Steve Merkley, Friends of the San Pedro volunteers, to give an update on beavers in Arizona. We shared details of our beaver survey along the San Pedro River in December-what evidence we saw of beaver activity and our estimate on the size of the beaver population there. We also shared the latest with the potential beaver reintroduction to Las Ciénegas National Conservation area, a process still working through the cogs at the Bureau of Land Management.
