Although it is against international law torture is still practised in many countries. In the wake of War on Terror the US became one of them. The main argument used to justify torture fictional scenario based around a ticking. However the idea that physical or mental pain may force someone to reveal vital information has little science behind it. How do you know there is a bomb? How do you know that you have the right person? How do you know they will tell you the truth? Reporter Anja Taylor investigates torture and how the US has utilised ‘Enhanced Interrogation Techniques’.

For those who may concern: Alpha Waves are also produced when watching TV, in a relaxt state, the viewer can absorb information such as commercials more effectively and remember it subconsciously. think about it
I think the only reason the Americans have done this was because they simply wanted a way to slap the enemy in the face after the 9/11 thing. I think it gave a lot of people satisfaction after that event.
Torture does work...can you imagine being stuck on a ride listening to its a small world after all for days on end.
Question us if it works, should goverments use it?
Should the citizens support such goverments? Where is the line? Is there one?
I´ am agaisnt it and if U.S uses it then they lose all moral credibility fighting terrorism and autoritarism as they are using the same tactics. To conclude they are the same shit to me and the idea of democracy is fucking funny as hell.
Torture works BUT people abuse the power.....people suck on too wide of a basis to allow torture
It is efficient but sometimes unrealiable. Everyone sings, but some sing what the torturers want to hear and not the entire truth.
