My all time favorite NFL RB. Growing up as a kid in the 90s watching TD dominate those two Super Bowl seasons with the Broncos doing the “Mile high salute" classic! I was so glad when he made the HOF.
He was definitely mines as well and still is. That’s why I’m a Broncos fan to this day, because of TD. I was so happy that he made the HOF. Mile high salute
As a true cheesehead , I can say this now. TD punished us in the superbowl game, “one cut Davis & gone” then hit the mile high salute on us 🤦🏿♂️ … TD was 1of1 but tht O- line was ferocious 💯💯
TD a good dude. Our kids run track in the Valley Youth Conference in the LA area. He shows love, signs autographs, takes pics, gives advice. Real down to earth family man. No ego at all.
True story. My daughter ran for the Rebels, first time I saw him he was sitting next to us at the conference finals and chopped it up with us all day… Cool down to earth brotha just like you said.
Great interview. Freddie T. Will be in the hall of fame at some point and it’s pitiful that he’s not already in. They need to let the players make those decisions and not people who have never played on that level.
Every major industry with public interest has a whole industry of those who critique it and analyze it as their profession. Actors don't vote for oscars, writers/critics do. Chefs don't date restaurants, food reviewers do - and on and on. It's retarded that people want players voting for themselves, especially since most players are retarded and can barely articulate a coherent thought. The people who get paid to follow this stuff professionally and look at every possible detail should be the ones who vote on things. Whether we always agree with them or not.

`Terrell Davis stories on his upbringing rings true with me, not as crazy, but similar in parental toughness and harshness towards their kids, especially the boys. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and if anyone is familiar with Jamaican upbringing, from both parents, moms and pops, it can be brutal at times. This is why I enjoy the/Piv0t podcast so much, the relatable stories of its guests. Some of them so surreal. Another GEM.
Playing Running Back freshman year in HS was because of TD. I remember we all loved the Salute celebration and his style of running, combine with power, grace and vision set him apart during his prime. A legend.
This was an inspirational piece. Hearing TDs motivations when nothing felt right and nothing was easy, he was able to give it another shot and not quit. Awesome
As a broncos fam this was amazing to see and hear. A lot of stuff I didn't know bout TD. I hope u guys can get more former Broncos like Shannon Sharpe and Champ Bailey!
Hello to The Pivot and everyone involved with the show.Great show with TD who earned everything through his work ethic and determination. I been watching football since 1970 without a doubt TD deserved that gold jacket. He dominated while he played in the NFL. As a Cowboy fan I got tired of seeing him running through the defense like he was back being 12 years old running back 😆. To Freaky Fred Taylor your gold jacket is long overdue my brother yous also dominated with the football in your hands
Man, I love what you guys are doing. Also the insight you offer the fans , into the lives, and histories of people who we have, and had no idea! On what struggles even the strongest, and successful in society went through to become great. I Thank you, Appreciate, admire, and deeply respect. What 3 solid Brothers, flowing through this journey of life, are giving. Always a Fan, and I have been watching since the start, and will continue. 💯% Solid! P.S When I saw that you were no longer working with the other Podcast, I stopped watching, them until I found out that the 3 of you were doing your own thing. No intent or hate on the other group. I just enjoy the [ Pivot ] far better. Thanks for reading!!!!!!
So many life lessons from the crew and guests. Lessons some of us may never have learned based on different upbringings, different cultures and backgrounds. Appreciative of this Pivot and these idols I grew up admiring from afar. Thank you
Before being an hall of fame player TD is a hall of fame person, that's the reason why he had so much success in his life. As a 42 yo Broncomaniac I still remember him playing like it was yesterday. I can not be more proud of him so I salute him like he did many times to us after scoring Tds with a Mile High Salute.
One of the greatest experiences of my life as a diehard Broncos fan was a coincidental meeting with TD the week before SB 50 that turned into a 1:1 hour long conversation about football and life. So glad you guys interviewed such a remarkable football player and an even greater man. Well done as always, Pivot. 🧡
